Whispering Canyon Cafe- lunch vs. dinner

I have WCC scheduled for lunch on my birthday. I couldn't get dinner reservations early enough for us to still get the kids in Sandcastle club and go to Jellyrolls.

My question is this, is it more sedated at lunch? I want it to be a fun meal. I have heard it can be pretty funny at dinner, but what about lunch? Should I skip it since I can't get it for dinner and go somewhere else for my birthday dinner?

We went to a late linch in May and there was barely anyone there.....
Did not get any of the "fun" interaction but got a good meal!
The skillet was great!

I have been to WCC for both lunch and dinner and found dinner to be much more exciting and fun. Last April I had a late lunch there and it was very quiet (almost too quiet).

We've been to WCC for all 3 meals many, many times. I really can't say that one is more exciting than another. It just depends on who is working. We've had rowdy lunches and quiet dinners -- and vice versa.

We went several weeks ago at lunch right when they opened. The CM's all announced very slowwwwwwwwwwwwwly COME AND GET IT!!! Quite a few of the cast members were very funny. Our waiter Dave was funny with a nasty twist. He didn't fit in with the rest of them.

We got to see all kinds of fun interaction.

We like to go at lunch. The crowd seems smaller but the servers still do all their antics. There are times when they cut up even more because they are not as busy.

Thank you everyone. I have moved my WCC meal to dinner. I had to change some things around to do it, but it is done now.
