We have never ate at whispering canyon cafe, out of our 24 times to WDW. The funny thing is we even stayed at WL 3 times! LOL This time we were planning on trying it for dinner. It sounds good. Do you guys like it who have ate there? Is bbq skillet good to get?(it sure looks good) Just to here what people had to say about it.
Thanks in Advancve

Whispering Canyon is one of our favorite restaurants in WDW. The All You Can Eat Skillet is very, very good, and a decent price at 21.99. I have always thought they came up a little short on the portions for menu items. The food is delicious but not much more than you would get at a Boston Market, etc.

Hope this helps!

I have had breakfast here twice and enjoyed the family breakfast. The hash browns are great as are the egss and biscuits and gravey. the waffles while tasty always were cold though.
For lunch I have had ala carte sanwiches which have been excellent.
It is also fun here with the CM's interacting with guests.

I had dinner their once and it was good, the wings were really big and the skilet meal was great

I also will give WC a thumbs up! We ate there in Feb and had the lunch skillet. Very reasonable. I am not sure if the items are different than the dinner skillet. If you like ice cream shakes you have to try the all-you-care to drink one! We love them!

We tried the appetizer wings once, they were a little spicey hot for our liking, but my brother loved them!

My DW and I like WCC for breakfast. The all-you-care-to-eat skillet breakfast is a great way to start the day.

Lunch and dinner we thought were just so-so; nothing remarkable about the food, but the servers were entertaining. We'd go back for the breakfast, but do other meals somewhere else on-site.

We have tried Whispering Canyon twice and this past Dec. we ate dinner there and loved it, I remember having steak and it was quite good. A few years earlier we ate there and had the skillet meal and didn't care for it too much. Its is a very entertaining meal if you have fun cast members!! We will be going again this Dec.

Hi, Our family went this past year for dinner (DH, DD, DD, DD). My husband had the skillet dinner and thought it was pretty good. My meal was not memorable because I don't even remember what it was! The key here is definitely the atmosphere and the entertainment! Lots and lots of fun. We would do it again, maybe next time for breakfast.

My family has never stayed at WL but we always end up here 3 or 4 times during our 9 day stay. We love the atmosphere of the Lodge and the restraunt. The kids are 15 and 13 but still like to watch some of the activities. My husband is a big meat eater and liked several types of meat in the skillet but after the first two visits, he switched to other types of meals. The other items that we have ordered have always been good but we especially like the breakfast. My kids like the all you can drink milk shakes. The strawberry is very strong. Stick with vanilla or chocolate.

We ate there on our last trip (last month) and we loved it. 4 out of the 5 adults in our party ordered the skillet and it was quite good. It comes out to be a good deal, because most of the entrees are around $18, and if you want a salad it's an extra $4. So we opted for the skillet since it comes with salad and then we could sample several different foods. The ribs and chicken were pretty tasty, plus there was sausage, pulled pork, beans, roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, and our favorite (NOT) Dinty Moore beef stew. That was the only yucky thing- my dad tasted it and proclaimed it tasted exactly like canned stew- in other words- gross. We loved the interaction with the servers and my 5 year old LOVED the pony races. My parents liked it so much that they took our kids back our last night while my DH and I had a "date." If you go not expecting gourmet, but just some nice, solid grub, you won't be disappointed. And if you have kids, check out the Lincoln Log table- they have a large table of Lincoln Logs to play with while you wait for your table- I took our kids back there while we were waiting for our food. Cute!

This is one of our favorite fun places to eat. DH LOVES the skillet. I find it a little too much food, so I have had a steak, or pork chops, and DH will share a little for me to try.

We also had breakfast there and it was excellent.

We LIKE the loud antics...if you want a mellow evening, this isn't the place for you.

It is very loud and lots of fun - a good atmosphere.

Remember to ask for Ketchup

Thanks
Jason

My husband and I had lunch there last December. My pork barbeque was okay and my husband was not pleased with his burger. He said the meat tasted 'stale.' We wouldn't go there again. Hope your visit is better than ours was.

I think breakfast is very good but dinner is horrible. I was able to eat maybe 2 bites of my dinner before feeling sick. I cannot recommend WCC for dinner.
