We had our first dinner skillet last month & what we ate was yummy - the pulled pork & ribs. The chicken was thighs & we don't like those. The brisket was shoe leather!

No problem though - there was so much food to eat. We also each ate a small ear of corn. Didn't eat the mashed potatoes or the corn bread - tasted each & they were good. Just a couple of bites of the salad - too much food!
So, after we were finished & talking with our server we discovered that when ordering a skillet we can request what we want & how much we want - which chicken pieces, or only ribs, or only ribs & pulled pork, no salad, no potatoes, etc. That made us feel better - hated wasting the food. She also asked if we wanted to take the leftovers as carryout & said it is always acceptable to do so, & that some people fill up the skillet a 2nd time in order to have leftovers to take. For those who want to do so, the food could be placed in the room fridge & heated in the food court microwave & fill in as a meal on days when Signature TS ate up credits.
I had the caramel shake; hubby had the chocolate. Both were yummy. Be careful though - don't fill up on shakes - they are very filling! Server was also nice enough to bring out about 1/3 of a strawberry shake so we could taste it. BTW, if one has the stomach to order a shake refill, it can be a different flavor.
As carryout we had the Apple Caramel Pie & the Cheesecake. The Cheesecake was typical, but good. The Pie was not good - it was all very thick & dry crust.
We will probably go back & have the Skillet again, but only with ribs, pulled pork, & small ear of corn each, with a shake of course! That keeps it from being a "crapload"!
Enjoy. Julie
