Whispering Canyon Cafe "calmer" changes?

We haven't ate at Whispering Canyon for years and have a reservation coming up in a few weeks. I was reading some recent threads commenting on how things have "calmed down" some. We actually have always enjoyed our wait staff's show and were looking forward to our next visit. How much has changed? Is it still a fun environment for the kids or just a sit down meal now? Any menu recommendations for lunch? I really wanted to try the cowboy hat style of the Kitchen Sink but saw that it is no longer available

I hope you receive many answers since I will cancel my rezzie if they are just a bland b-b-q (sort of) restaurant....no need to drag the whole family waaaaaaaay over there for a so-so experience.

Ate there for a late lunch in Aug. Guests had to yell for ketchup, waitstaff were not supposed to. No other shenanigans. No stuck ponies.

There were many posts about this restaurant if you scroll back a bit. Maybe people are bored by writing about it again. I know I have written several times since I have been back.

Just reading about these changes. So disappointed to read this. This TS has been a fav of ours or years and we loved all the shenanigans from the CM's. I don't understand why the changes!?!
