Here I am enjoying about my 5th big glass of PEG-Electrolyte :faint: for my colonoscopy in the AM tomorrow. And a few more big glasses to go. But did have a nice ham dinner that Marie made for Easter yesterday. :cool1: Ahhhhh, sweet memories.....of dinner that is.

Doing the test again, last time was five years ago, and before that, two years. They did find a precancerous polyp back then on the first, which was recommended to be done by my regular doctor after doing a personal update then and his then knowing my mom passed from colon/liver cancer some years previous. Wise doctor, good advice. :thumbsup2

So, while I am having Demerol and versed for my morning meal tomorrow, you guys enjoy your bacon and eggs, pancakes, waffles, bagels and whatever. I have to wait till about noon, after the procedure, then Marie and I will go and have a nice lunch together. :cool1: And if I say anything strange tomorrow later in the day here, I am not myself saying it, LOL. :rolleyes1

Here's pixie dust that all goes well. :wizard:

Mmm, tasty!

I don't know how you can even keep it down!!

I'll think of you with every bite of my lasagne! :rotfl:

Best wishes for your test tomorrow!

I had one last year. The preparation is definitely the worst part of the procedure.

Good luck to you.

Good luck, Dan. Hope your colon is clean. (No pun intended!)

I promise I'll have something really yucky for breakfast tomorrow Dan! Poor thing! I remember when DH did it. No fun at all. :grouphug:

Here's hoping all goes well. Having done this before you already know the prep is the worst, and the procedure is pretty tame(as far as you know).
Have a nice lunch tomorrow. Pizza perhaps? :)

If it helps, I only have tea for breakfast. ;)

Seriously, I hope that your test goes well. I feel for you having to go through this and I hope that you'll have a special dinner tomorrow.

I'll take some of that Versed, but don't envy you the PEG. Ug.

That was a funny post. I'll think about you tomorrow while I'm eating my eggs!

Have a nice colonoscopy! (never thought I'd say that to anyone.) :)

:wizard: Hope everything goes well Dan.
I am dreeding next month when I have to go for my blood sugar test and I need to drink that yucky sweeter then soda drink. YUCK.

I wish you the best of luck, a speedy recovery, and loads of pixie dust. :wizard: You always have loads of knowledge and a great attitude, it is always a pleasure to read your posts/threads. Take care. :sunny:

Dan,

:grouphug: Good luck to you. If it makes you feel better, I won't be eating until after noon tomorrow, either. Although mine is not b/c of procedures but nervous tummy.

Hope evrything goes well tomorrow and I will keep you in my prayers.

I hope all goes well tomorrow. I'm facing the same thing soon.

:grouphug: Sarah and I send you our best wishes. Tomorrow this time it will all be over.

Hope everything goes well tomorrow, Dan!

I'll think of you as I eat my Pop-Tart! :teeth:
