going for 5 days with 3 full days to visit parks...have 6 year old twins..been to all parks but cant decide?? help..........!

I don't think you could miss with any of the parks, but I agree that the one I would skip would be AK. For my DH, he would skip Epcot. If your twins are into coasters, you might run over to AK for Expedition Everest and Dinosaur.

I am missing something here or dont all kids love animals? You have 6 year old twins so I am not sure EPCOT would be my first choice. If I was taking kids I would go to MK, AK, and DHS. I think they will be bored at EPCOT.

I am with the skip AK crowd. There are not as many rides, animals are easier to see at the zoo and it is 10 degrees hotter there than anywhere else.

MK,DHS,Epcot. I am not a fan of AK.

Agree 100%

We're going in Aug and we all (2 kids included) have decided to skip AK this time. We do AK every 3rd trip or so...mainly just for the Lion King show.

Why not let the kids decide? Kids usually have some pretty strong oppinions, if they can't agree take a vote. Personally, I wouldn't rule out Epcot for my 7 and 9 year olds because they are going to have the Kim Possible adventure and that is one of the big things they are looking forward to, but we are doing all 4 parks :)

MK, DHS & AK. I think the littlier kids prefer Animal Kingdom. It was my nephew's favorite when they went. I think for 6 year olds, Epcot might not be that much fun. JMHO.

If you don't have park hoppers, I would probably skip DHS. Just my personal opinion. If you do have park hoppers, I'd do a full day at MK, a full day at Epcot, do an AM in AK and PM in DHS.

Possibly. But my 4 yr old LOVED Epcot. SHe loved the attractions of futureworld, and World Showcase has the kidcot stops and each country has its own performers. My 4 yr ols loved the Chinese acrobats, the Fife and Drum corp in America, The mariachi band in Mexico and the Taiko drummers and Miyuki the candy lady in Japan.

Every kid is different. When mine was 6 he probably would have chosen MK/Epcot/AK. At that age Epcot was his favorite park and the only things he wanted to do at the Studios were ToT and RnR.

I'd never go to WDW without Hoppers, though. We like the flexibility so if we want to dash into the DHS for an hour or two and then head elsewhere we can.

I agree with the other posters. We are going for 2 weeks and will stop at Ak once to see the Lion King show and ride the rapids. Not one of our favorite parks.

If I had to choose three parks with 6 year old's I would go with MK, Epcot and DHS. I would skip the Animal Kingdom because of the shorter hours that, depending on when you go, may include a 5:00 pm closing time.

That being said, your original post states you are going for 5 days with 3 full days to visit the parks. If you don't have plans for one of the mornings you could probably visit just about everything of interest once in the Animal Kingdom between park opening and lunch time, especially if it is an EMH day. To add that extra day to your tickets would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $6 - $10 per person so maybe you could squeeze in a day at three parks and a half day at AK.

I am not a hugh fan of AK however my ds7 loves it and if he had to make the choice he would do MK HS and AK. I would ask the kids

I would go to all 4 parks! All of them have do-not-miss attractions and experiences for 6 yr olds.

This is my suggestion as well. If we have to leave out a park, it would be DHS.

I would probably skip AK as well. DS5 LOVED Epcot. He wasn't as thrilled with the World Showcase as he was with Future World, but he still had fun there. He would ride Soarin', and Test track non stop if we allowed him to though.

My family is in the same situation going with sister-in law and her husband and kids. They only have 3 days of tickets and they do not have park hoppers. We had a hard time deciding the parks. we have all girls ages 3, 5, and 6 so we had to Magic Kingdom, but my dd(5) doesn't like big roller coasters and my 6 year old niece loves them so we finally decided on Magic Kingdom, Epcot(my dd fave) and DHS (my Niece's fave) if your kids like the coasters this is a nice balance, but if they really hate them then I would suggest skipping DHS.

Skip Hollywood Studios. It has the least Disney magic. Think Universal Studios...

Don't skip Animal Kingdom. It's a beautiful park and the animals can't be missed! No, it doesn't have a lot of thrill rides, but that's not what a Disney vacation is about. At least it's not for me.
