I've been looking at my options for dining on the last day (4/4/08) but I just can't choose. So far we are eating at San Angel Inn, Marrakesh, Bistro De Paris, The Garden Grille(Lunch). I"m trying to pick where in WS to eat on our last night. Epcot has EMH's so we'll definitely be in the park. I dont want Italian because we are already eating Italian at our resort. I"ve basically narrowed it down between Tokyo Dining, Askershus, and Le Cellier. I opted out of Nine Dragons because I eat so much Chinese back home anyway, and I've never tried any of the restaurants listed except San Angel.

Any helpful suggestions are appreciated.

Also, we are not viewing Illuminations this evening.

totally love all your options, I would reccomend Le Cellier it is absolutley amazing and DONT forget to order the cheddar cheese soup you wont regret it...Enjoy!

Can I come lol jk!

I've heard amazing things about Le Cellier, I"ve just always been leary because where I live (CT) there are a thousand steak houses. WHen I'm on vacation(and paying out of my butt for food) I want it to be more than just mediocre. Oh and you can come sure...if when I get back you take me with you on your trip! Haha. jk

Well to me and my family we are big into fine dining and experience all types of foods and we feel that Le Cellier is outstanding to delicious steak houses we live in Ft. Lauderdale Fla and sometimes we head to Miami area and they have fancy steak houses and till this day we think Le Cellier is delicious..

quick question...have you been to California grill??? We went there for my parents 25 aniv. and it was amazing but to us Le Cellier was top. What was your other options than Le Cellier????

I"ve never been to California Grill. WE stayed at the Contemporary last trip but we didnt see anything exciting on the menu so we didn't go there. My other options were Askershus(sp?) in Norway, and Tepan Edo or Tokyo Dining in Japan as I've never eaten in either country. Biergarten seems too greasy although I"ve haven't eaten here since i was small.

LECellier.

We also have tons of steak places in NYC but the ambience of LeCellier is so different and the food is delish!

Between those three I would choose Le Cellier, but have you thought about going out the back entrace to Epcot over to the Boardwalk area and choosing from one of those restaurants? We love the Flying Fish! Lots of people love Spoodles and Big River Grill. Just a thought. Have a great trip!:)

We are staying at the dolphin so the thought hasn't escaped me. My friend and I decided to eat at Il Mulino at the Swan because we thought the menu looked amazing (we love Italian), so that pretty much did it for out of park food. I saw the Yachtsman Steakhouse on the travel channel one day and it looked pretty good too, and I've heard good things about the flying fish. I dont know when i dont eat in the theme park itself, I feel cheated. I"m a weirdo i know, but I will consider flying fish for lunch on one of the open mornings I have. Thanks for the info!:wizard:

I think the Flying Fish opens at 5, but you might want to check that. It is my favorite restaurant at WDW. I hope that you get a chance to eat there.:)

Le Cellier was hands-down my absolute favorite restaurant during our last trip (10 days on the dining plan). The cheddar cheese soup and filet mignon were delicious!:thumbsup2

LeCellier is awesome, my entire family gets so excited when I finally get reservations there. Definately our favorite in all of disney. California Grill is awfully "fancy" food if you have kids with you, but the atmosphere is wonderful especially in the evening during the MK fireworks and the food is great. We also loved Boma's, San Angel is really nice and good. Good luck, it's all good!

so you guys had me sold on Le Cellier, but I called just now and they are fully booked for the entire week we are there:confused: But on the good side, I talked to the most wonderful CM. She was gracious and very sweet, so it made the dissapointment go away. I settled for Askershus, at least Ariel is in her ball gown...oh well, maybe I'll get lucky and a table will free up for lunch one day.

:thumbsup2 Look on the bright side NOW you have to plan another trip to DW to go to Le Cellier lol....let us know how Akerhaus is because i have never been.

ENJOY

I would recommend Bistro de Paris.......we had a great meal on our trip in December, however, this last visit, last week, terrible meal at Chefs de France. I cannot recommend that one.

We ate this last week at the new Teppan Edo and had a great meal.......but noted that they are omitting the last part of that meal... which was the stir fry sprouts... they think we do not notice when they shrink the meal.. first it was the salad, it is now ala carte.. and now it is the bean sprouts...
