Which would you stay at?

Cortona Inn or Peacock Suites?

Cortona Inn- if we purchase our Disneyland tickets from them at check-in, the rate for 3 nights would be $362.07 for a room with 2 queens in one room and a sofa bed in a separate sitting area. Free parking and free continental breakfast.

Peacock Suites- Rate for 3 nights would be $290 for a room with 2 doubles and a separate sitting area. Free continental breakfast, mandatory valet parking for $8/day

Or any other suggestions in the same price range for a room with a separate sitting area? (Husband wants to be able to stay up after we put the boys to bed, though he usually ends up falling asleep WHILE i am putting the boys to sleep ) The dates we are looking at are Oct 15-18

I would do Peacock Inn and Suites. I have a number of friends who love to stay there but are not members of the board.

I would do Peacock, I've stayed there a time or two (they are our timeshare) and it's a nice place to stay. The seperate sitting room has the fold out couch tho so you'll need to make sure you put them in 1 bed together so you and DH can crash later.

I've heard the Peacock tries to sell you a timeshare when you check in. Are they really obnoxious about it?

And I only wish they would sleep in the same bed LOL They insist on one sleeping with mommy and one with daddy LOL

Ok well if 1 is with Mommy and the other is with Daddy you will be fine. DH can watch TV in the living room area and you can put the boys to bed. They will try to sell you a timeshare but when we were asked once and said no thanks that was it. They do give you some good incentives ($100 Disney Dollars or dining certs) but it's totally up to you, and if you check in after 6 or 7 there is no concierge to bug you about it.

My children & I are staying at the Peacock Suites from this Friday. It will be our 2nd time there. We really like it.
The ART bus stops right outside the hotel & takes you to Disneyland, plus you can get other buses from there if you need to go to Target etc.
It is also in walking distance of Garden Walk Mall which has some really nice places to eat- Bubba Gumps, Cheesecake factory, and Johnny Rockets.
