I keep going back and forth on my hotel choice and I'm not sure which one I should leave it at. I'm planning a birthday week long trip in May with my boyfriend. It'll be our last Disney trip for a while. We've decided not to renew our annual passes so we can take trips elsewhere without feeling obligated to go to Disney all the time. Since I'm not sure when we'll be back I want to make it a trip to remember.
So originally I booked the one-bedroom villa theme park view at Bay Lake Tower, but the room is crazy expensive. I played around with dates but they all seem to be the same price every night. So I switched it to the Contemporary theme park view room. But I'm worried with this choice. What if we get the room at the very end away from Magic Kingdom, will we still be able to see the fireworks at night? Also this way I'm pretty sure I won't get a king bed since I never get that request. I was thinking of maybe doing a split stay, but I wouldn't want to do that until after the 180 window so I can book my entire weeks worth of restaurants. Which by then could potentially have the room being unavailable to switch to.
Should I leave the reservation as is at the Contemporary?
