If you could have two Florida vacations staying offsite (one in June one at Xmas) or one staying on-stie (in say, October)......which would you choose??

We are staying off site in June and I am trying to talk DH into going for Xmas as well.....if this fails, I am up for a trip next year on site instead (probably staying at Coronado Springs or Port Orleans).

So, would you go for Xmas off site and then another off site trip or one on-site trip???

Comments welcome!

Allie

Definately two trips staying off-site. Staying in a Disney hotel is fun, but not so much so that it's worth missing out on another trip to Orlando. If you're doing two trip make sure you buy annual passes. Much better value for money than buying two sets of Hopper passes.

Never stayed on site and although it would be tempting I would still go for the two trips.

LOL!:) :) :)

Well THATS pretty clear then guys! I had better get on wearing DH down to go at Christmas!! I got a quote from Travel City leaving on the 27th Dec, for £2850 (3 adults, 2 kids, car, flights and villa) which sounds pretty good. I think I would prefer to go on the 20th though, which bumps it up considerably, apparantly.

Anyone heard of any cheap flights around Xmas time???

Thanks again for all the replies!

Allie.

No such thing as cheap flights around Christmas, unfortunately. Prices take a big leap up around the 16th, and are very high until the 24th before falling back again. As there is high demand to fly before Christmas all the airlines hike their prices up.

Another vote for 2 trips. I suppose I really can't comment cause we have always stayed off site. I luv the disney parks but I also like universal and seaworld and like to fact that we can get away from disney after a day at the parks.

Thanks for the advice on the flights Rob. I got a quote £2800 all in (flights, car, villa) but that was leaving on the 27th Dec. Due to DHs work, it only really makes sense if we can leave around the 20th, and prices are nearly £1000 more then.

Definitely two trips!

I've never stayed onsite and have no wish to do so ,so it would be no contest for me;)
