which would you choose?

I think I budgeted $1000 for meals for 1 adult and 2 kids...YC with tickets $2250 plus $1000 meals = 3250

Option 2
7 nights caribbean beach resort water view or coronado springs. 5 day park pass with disney dining plan for $2750

Factoring meals i would guess yacht club woukd be $500-$600 more then CBR

OOPs....I misread your post. For a $600 difference, I would pick YC.

Thanks for the responses....just to clarify the $2200 at YC is per room not for both :) still a great deal.
think we will do YC as probably cant ever get that price again.

It is still a great rate for YC even if it is per room. We would never find value on the DDP either. We don't eat dessert but eat appetizers and don't do snacks and would never use the refillable mug. If you don't eat the way the DDP expects or if only some of your party does, it doesn't appear like a good deal especially since you might end up paying some OOP expenses on top.

The pool at YC/BC is pretty cool and there are so many options around for dining. You can also sit out on the beach and watch movies at night out there. I will admit to being biased about the resort. I love the location and the rooms are, I think, a little larger than CBR. Not a big deal for the two of us but somewhat valuable with children.

2 rooms at the YC for that price......:-)....for 7 nights.....that's a great deal! That's just an insane deal..............Do the Deluxe!!!! You may never see that price again, even with the extra for dining......OMG:D

I completely agree. The YC is a beautiful resort, and with that pool, who needs a waterpark?

I'd go for the little bit of extra to get the Yacht Club! You can't beat the pool, and the accessibility to epcot, DHS, and boardwalk (making it VERY easy to get in those mid-day naps). :thumbsup2

oh yes the naps!!! We stayed at the beach club in dec. We hit every early morning and we closed a few parks down but boy did dh and I love the naps...Kids not so much

I just read that this was for 2 rooms...are you kidding...that the YC. We originally had 1 room 8 nights with dining and tickets for 6k ( before discount) at the beach club. Even FW cabins was twice the op's cost...take it that's under 160.00 a night

Normally I would jump all over CSR but in your case if those numbers are right (is that for each room?)............... YC for sure!!!

Even if you added DDP you are talking only $200 more for a trip at a deluxe attached to two parks, with the best pools on property and the bonus ticket.

OP did say it was for each room, but that's still an amazing deal. We're paying $4000 for BC for 5 nights with free dining (for one GV room). So you'd get two for the price of one almost.

I would absolutely pick the YC. We stayed there and loved it. But then again the dining plan doesn't interest me. Only our kids eat dessert. It would be too much food and annoying to keep track of.

I stand corrected but only slightly.. still an amazing deal I agree
