which would you pick

Yak & Yeti or Tusker House - and why

We've never eaten at either and i know 1 is a buffet but which would you pick?

Yak & Yeti because we really enjoy their counter-service food (we've eaten that several times).

We've never eaten at Tusker House.

I voted for Yak & Yeti (but we have not tried Tusker House). We went to Yak & YEti in September and it was the second best meal of our trip. Here is the review I wrote with pictures.

I voted Tusker House. We have eaten at both and much prefer the Tusker House buffet over Yak.

Tusker House!!! This is one of our favorite rests. On our last trip (Nov/Dec 2008) we ate there 2 times - breakfast (character) and lunch!! It is really good!!

Since you already have a buffet type restaurant at Boma , I would do the Yak & Yeti, unless you want another buffet then do Tusker House.

I haven't eaten at either place yet, but I'm still voting for Tusker House, just because I really like the look of the menu better than Y&Y.

Plus, if you have lunch instead of dinner, and you have it at Tusker House between 1:00 and 1:40, you'll get reserved seating for the 3:15 Finding Nemo show. I love that show, but finding queuing up for it to be a giant pain in the patootie, so I'm really looking forward to trying the reserved seating.

We ate at Y and Y and it was a little dissapointing. The food was not as good as I imagined it would be. Plus the menu was sort of limited for dinner. I would go with Tusker.

2 Reasons:

We do not like buffets!

We find the food at Yak and Yeti far better than Tusker House. Our experience is based on dinner only. Also, although not a major issue, we felt that the dessert was very lacking in selection compared to other buffets.
