Sept 23rd or Oct 21st?

Will it be crowded the week of Oct 21st because of halloween?

We went Oct 1st last year and it was packed - maybe becase of the free dining...or last days of value season.

Actually, both are good. However, October will be slightly higher on the busy scale because MNSSHP is going on during this time. If I had the option of both, I would choose September. :)

The lowest crowds will be in Sept. However we have been at the end of October and it was also great. Not too crowded and very lovely weather.

We are going on September 22nd and will be there until october 1st. I hope it won't be packed....I was told that it is the slowest time of the year.
what's that about free dining?

September right after Labor Day has lower crowd levels. The weather is still quite hot and humid though...that's the trade-off.

Last year around the end of Aug - first week of Oct. Disney offered a free upgrade on packages that included the dining plan for free. Many people took advantage of it. I think this made the attendance in the parks a little higher than the norm. But it still wasn't that bad.
