Which "Weather" site do you use?

And how much faith do you put in those reports? I've checked Weather.com and Accuweather.com, and it's not looking too good for next week. We leave on the 28th and it's looking humid and cloudy. I know it can change (it IS weather, after all!) but are those sites fairly accurate? Any experiences?

You're a full week away, too early to know for sure. FL weather is unpredictable this time of year due to tropical storms and such.

It's been hot and humid, although not as oppressive as it had been. Monday it was 90 as I was driving home from work, but I think it was cooler yesterday--it felt that way anyhow. It was rainy yesterday and again today.

This time of the year plan on weather in the upper 80's and low 90's, some rain, and evenings in the low to mid 70's. That's about as accurate as you're going to get.

Hi there! You can also try intellicast.com- that site, with the two you mentioned were what we used to track the weather for our trip. Don't fear- the weather CONSTANTLY changes- we began looking at the sites about 10 days out and each day there were changes to the forecast! Even when we got there, things changed- two of the days we were there they were calling for rain, but all we got was a passing shower on one of the days! Have fun!

Those weather sites are too general in their thinking. Every trip i've used i have tried to use those reports and they were mostly wrong when it came to them announcing any kind of precipitation. Hakuna Matata :teeth:

I keep checking weather.com and accuweather.com right up until we leave, and I too check wftv.com to get the local, local report.

We are leaving Friday night on a red-eye. Landing in Orlando about 7:15 AM Saturday morning. We will be there two weeks. Did we make a mistake planning the trip for now? :confused3

Would you still go if it were you?

People at work say I am stupid to still go on this trip with all the storms.
What do you think?

The storms out there are not headed to Orlando, one is headed straight for Texas and the other one is far north of FL and headed back out to sea.

Come on down. No storms looming in the area. It will be fine.

Thank you Safetymom. We are so looking forward to our trip. I was wondering if the resorts can give you weather reports for the area?

You could watch the local news when you get here. I am sure a CM could give you the weather report.

weatherchannel.com

for the most part its pretty accurate. but even if it rains youll still have fun at wdw.

You will have a good time with great weather. I'll go ahead and make sure all the bad weather comes my way. <looks outside> Yep, here it comes!!! :umbrella:
