The beds at the S/D, WL and CR are wonderful.

We are going to stay at a WDW moderate resort on our next WDW vacation.

The pools at all the moderate seem fine to us. We swim about an hour every other day. We do not lounge at a WDW pool all day. We can swim at home in our own pool. We go to WDW to enjoy the Parks.

We would like a WDW moderate resort because they have a refrigerator in the room and are at least 312 square feet in size.

Could you please give your honest opinion on the double size beds at the WDW moderate resorts ?

Did the bed squeak ?
Was the bed too hard or soft ?
Did you toss and turn and not get a great nights sleep ?

Also - Could you hear the noise from the room next door ?

Thanks in advance to all your replies :goodvibes

Well, I've slept in some of them at all the resorts and didn't notice any difference. I never thought that they were great or bad. They just were what they were.

But after walking around outside all day long and riding rides, I think they could give me a bed of rocks and I'd drift comfortably off to sleep. :)

We've stayed at all the moderates and I have to say the POR bed I just slept in a month ago seemed to be much different and better than any of the others.

We slept great at CBR last summer. Of course it was Aug and we were doing a commando type trip, so we likely could have slept on concrete....

Seriously though, I'm always having trouble sleeping in hotels, the mattresses and pillows never suit me. But I do remember finding the ones at CBR more to my liking.

2007- We stayed at POFQ, the beds were very comfy and I had no problem falling asleep.

2006: POR (Mansion Room) The bed was ok, but I thought the one at FQ was better.

2004: CBR: I thought the bed was too soft and it did squeak, to me it was uncomfortable.

Also, I thought POFQ was the quietiest mod that we stayed at followed by POR and then CBR.

CSR has nice comfortable beds but I can't tell you they are the best. Everyone is different in what they like or dislike. I can tell you they are new within the last 18 -24 months and are the large, pillow top variety. They are very tall off the ground now.

It's been six years since we stayed at CBR, but I don't remember the beds being uncomfortable. Last year, the beds at POR were very comfortable. I had no problem with them whatsoever.

csr has great pillow top mattress' I was genuinely surprised! Slept wonderfully.

The only way to accurately answer this would be to have slept in beds at all 4 mods... I have slept at 2 and both were sufficiently comfortable (POR & CSR).
