We've never been to a water park, so we could use some advice on which water park is best for a family with three girls ages 6, 8 and 10. Will it be warm enough in March?

we just got back from disney this morning- my kids are 2,6 and 8.

and they loved blizzard beach- the weather was in the 80's:bounce:

We've been to TL twice, and loved it. We had a group of us - ages 41 down to 2, and everyone had a grand time!

March weather is iffy, you'll have to decide on the fly. We've been there when it was 90, and again when it was barely 60. The norm is somewhere in between, but you never can tell.

Whichever you choose, you will have fun, this much I can guarantee!

Our favorite is Typhoon Lagoon. We just feel more relaxed there. Also the wave pool is soooooooooo much better than at Blizzard Beach.

My 12 yr old DS & I went to TL and loved it. Of course he wanted to go to BB too but it was closed for repairs. I believe the TL is more "relaxing" where BB has more slides so I guess it's all what your family enjoys!

Thanks for the information, obviously you can't really go wrong with anything that disney is a part of :) I just can't wait...hoping for the 90's! Still not sure which park, sometimes we want to relax and sometimes we want wild adventure, guess we'll decide later, nice to know the differences though. 8 DAYS! WOO_HOO!

We enjoyed TL more

blizzard beach always seemed more packed when we have tried to go there

We usually go to both, our 3 ds like the wave pool better at Typhoon Lagoon. Its the smaller water park and dh and I are pretty tall. We do not like the lazy river there as its just too shallow. At Blizzard beach your kids would definetely love the ski patrol training camp area, its designed for pre teens. Very busy area. There are many more lounge chairs at bb and no matter which park you choose get there early. BB has some fun spots where kids can shoot water cannons at unsuspecting guests along the lazy river too. My ds love this and look for dh and I to come around. There is a chair lift that will take you up to the slides or you can walk if you want. The wave pool there is good too. TL has the swimming with sharks (harmless) and fish at shark reef area. I tried it once but that water is just too cold for me. The rest of the family enjoys it. Nice experience they said (included in your park admission - they give you a snorkle, mask and vest).
