...hotels on Harbor, North of Katella?

Such as Jolly Roger, Desert Palms & Fairfield?

We stayed in that little strip last time, curious if the walk from HOJO is easier or harder in anyway?

Fairfield isn't by Jolly Roger and Desert Palms, it's right next to HoJo. The walk from Fairfield or HoJo is def shorter than from the Jolly Roger.

I was looking at a DL hotel map - it must've lied to me! ;)

There are a strip of places, right in a row - North of Katella. IHOP is there, so is DI&S.....THAT strip of hotels, is it an easier walk than from HOJO?

Edited to say I see where I made my mistake - I mistook Hotel #7 for a #2! Also I thought Manchester Ave was big street, maybe it's small?

Here's the link to the map:

That map is a little misleading IMO. It really makes it look like the Katella hotels you are referring to are quite close, but the walk from the Harbor hotels like Fairfield and HoJo is a shorter one for sure. We were there in July and stayed at the Faifield and the walk was short. The in laws stayed at Jolly Roger and had to get a shuttle. It is certainly walkable, but it was hot and just enough further that MIL couldn't make it. She walked from Fairfield to DLR with us once though and was fine.

ETA: Okay, double checked your question about Manchester. It is a regular street. So you have Fairfield, keep walking a bit, cross the street and there is HoJo. It IS further than Faifield, but not terribly so. HTH! I've never actually stayed at HoJo, so hopefully someone else can give you some comparisons.

I have stayed at both Hojo and FFI hojo is like a minute farther at 10 minutes to walk at most :) Manchester is just a 2 lane street :)
Jolly Roger is far from the main gate, you would need the shuttle unless you are up to a fair 15 minute walk.
We have stayed in that katella area before and I don't care for the walk at all. We rely on the shuttle from that area. Hth :)

Any of the hotels on Harbor from HoJo's to Ramada are the easiest walk. The Best Western Park Place Inn is the "closest" to the crosswalk from Disneyland, HoJo's & Ramada are the furthest.

A better map than what Disney provides. :)

Remember, if you're staying on that side and walking, you're walking up Harbor to that spot that says Entrance Plaza. So, say, Alpine Inn might be right *next to* DCA, but you can't just hop the fence (not saying you think that...just being silly); you have to get up to the entrance plaza.

HoJo is absolutely no problem to walk, IMO. I always like to cross Manchester, then cross Harbor at that point, and walk on the Disney side of the street. Saves the hassle of dealing with crowds for those 10 minutes or so. :)

we stayed at the fairfield, it was super close. the hojo I saw up the street, another 5 minute walk for us ( we walked it to see)
