Which view/floor at VWL with children?

Hiya

We're hoping to change over to Villas at Wilderness Lodge for a week in November. We have two children aged 5 and 2, so wondered what view/floor to request if anyone can give us some advice?

Almost all of the views at VWL are of the woods, so view isn't all that important there. Some people like to be near the quiet pool, but if you need afternoon nap time that pool isn't always all that quiet! Others request to be near the elevators, though it is a small resort and even the farthest room isn't all that far away from the elevators.

My first request is always for non-smoking. After that, we really don't have a huge preference. I hope you enjoy your trip!

Thanks that's great, I'll just maybe request non smoking and a higher floor then for a slightly better view then.

There are almost always ducks and bunnies in the morning walking by on the grass. Often a person with a patio is giving or just leaving them a treat...bread or cracker.

We requested and got lake view this past December. We could see parts of Bay Lake through the trees, and even got to watch some of the Electrical Water Pageant from our room.

Any issues with creepy-crawlies on the first floor? At SSR one day I spent 15 mintues chasing around a salamander since we left the patio door open. Didn't bother me...I thought it was funny but my 2 year old and DW were not impressed.

Ever since then I ask for 2nd floor or above.
