Which Value Resort is your Favorite?

Pop. It's large but compact.

Decent food court.

Love the larger-than-life icons.

Like the bus service.

Nice pools.

I've never found it to be loud, except in the food court during prime-time hours like breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Nice, clean rooms.

Pop Century, Preferred room bldg 3. top floor. Is quiet, close to where the luggage drop off. Super clean, awesome bartenders at Petal poolbar. Never much of a bus wait. Nice

Which value has the best beds? I wasn't too impressed with our bed in the cars suite at AOA.

Art of Animation is my favorite because of the theme and it's newer. However, it's more expensive than the other value hotels. I've stayed at Pop and had a great time. Would definitely stay there again.

If AoA counts, then thats my pick. I stayed there with my 5 girlfriends this past spring. we had such an amazing and magical time. The Finding nemo suites are awesome!!! If I had to pick another value to stay at, definitely POP, I love the theme and I love how there is the bridge that connects with AoA.

We loved Pop century, but we also really like AoA. The theming of both was great, both have a pretty good food court. We rented a car so I have no clue about the buses.

AoA hands down. We had a terrible experience in ASmo, our room at pop was dirty and the pool rooms are super loud. Also pop was the only unconfortable bed we had on property. We stayed two nights at all starts sports in February and it wasn't too bad. We are trying music next month because everything else is sold out.

All Star Sports, the theme may not be the best but it seems the smallest and most convenient when booking a non-preferred room.

POP is a big favorite in these forums. It's better than the All Stars for the buses alone. The buses at All Stars stop at all the All Star resorts so you have to deal with people already being on the bus when you get on and making multiple stops- just seems super annoying. Also POP has a decent food court.

My order is

1. Music (most peaceful, and best landscaping, least garish of the Values, new food court, no bus problems)
2. Movies (If you have to have giant Icons staring at you at least they are from Disney movies (although the Dalmatians creeped me out, good food court, no bus problems)
3. Sports (on the rare occasion that you share, it's the first stop, also had the best service in the Food Court of any of my stays)
4. AofA (Nice theming but not on my revisit list. crowded, loud, lousy bus service, food court was okay, I hated the showers in the standard rooms dark and cave like, literally painted to look like underwater cave, Giant Ursula creeped me out)

Haven't stayed at POP (will next month) but don't see it bumping Music from my top spot.

People will say that the allstars share buses. They do, sometimes, not often and usually only during the slow hours in the afternoon. I'm telling you I have almost never shared a bus at the Allstars. POP and AofA don't share but they are both huge resorts with only one bus pickup so it can be crowded or you wait for multiple buses. Both have their down points. Don't let bus service sway your choice. Go with theme and look at the Menus. That's the best way to choose between Values.

I may be a little biased because its the only Value Resort I've stayed at, but Pop hands down is great. We loved how easy it was to catch a bus that went directly to and from the resort with hardly any stops. My only issue was, we were staying in the 70s section facing the lake, and when you are already tired from walking all day it can be a nightmare to walk there from the buses (or even from the car park). But otherwise, the room was clean, the theme was wonderful (I am a sucker for nostalgia) and the service was excellent. I would love to try other resorts in the future, but I am definitely looking forward to staying here in two weeks

Movies, Music, and Sports are all the same except the food courts. Once you've seen one, you've seen them all. Art of Animation is in my opinion, the most modern and convenient value resort. I haven't stayed at Pop yet though. Have a trip booked there in Oct 2016.
