Which TS or CS place in each park won't you eat at again and why?

Liberty Inn's smores is nasty. I wouldn't touch, I ate the fruit bowl we got with the dining plan.

Arekarsus at Epcot for breakfast. I loved the cinnamon rolls but that was about it, the grits were at the bottom of the bowl and I hate grits and it was not a pleasant taste mixed with eggs.

Pizza Planet and Mama Melroses. I just have not been impressed there and we have no intention of going back.

Garden Grill was not fun, we ate there when they had breakfast and that was the end of that.

We're really not that picky. But we both hated Electric Umbrella in Epcot. We'll definitely try Sunshine Seasons this time for our CS in Epcot.

We also usually LOVE Chef Mickey's for dinner and eat there 2 or more times per trip. However, last time we were really disappointed in the dinner. Character interaction was lacking too, but that could have been because we were in the little room that's off the main dining room. We're going back this time though!

I'm mixed on 'Ohana. I loved the appetizers, dessert, etc., but the meats were dry even with the sauce IMO.

The way I look at it is.....I'd rather eat bad food at Disney than bad food at home :thumbsup2

Magic Kingdom- Cosmic Rays

Epcot- San Angel - beautiful setting, adaquate food but ALFUL service. I tend to cut servers alot of slack, I was in the restaurant industry for years. But there was no excuse for the slow, rude, service here. This was the first and only time I have ever complained to a manager.

Mgm- Toy Story Pizza Planet- NO pizza is worth such a long line!

AK- Breakfastasauras- I used to love this place but last time the food was so bad I will not be back.

POP foodcourt- most food here just did not agree with me.

Beaches and Creme (BC) - horrible Caesar salad, didn't try the desserts.
Boma (AKL) - I liked it; DH didn't.
Cosmic Ray's (MK) - Not that good.

this is not in a park but we did not like the All Star Cafe at the WWoS place. It was bad (bad food bad service) we decided the problem was we were there when there were no events at the Wwos and they were not expecting people to want to eat there ... the way they acted they had opened special because us and one other family had made ADR's and we were really cutting into their sitting at the bar watching TV time. ;)

Akershus.... DH and I will eat almost anything and neither one of use could find enough on the bar to fill us up (this was prior to the changes to the menu). Luckily DS's kids meal hadenough corn and mashed potatoes to hold us over until dinner.

Chef Mickey's.... Cold bland over-cooked food. Horrible service and extremely poorly ran character interaction) we were there for almost 2 hrs without the characters visiting the section we were in. Eventually the server for some of the tables in our section (not ourserver he was MIA the entire meal) went and got the characters. It seemed that no one knew about the sections of tables behind the buffet. Werethought we were in the twilight zone. CM's had come highly recommened by the DIS and several people we knew. We thought it was some big joke (like telling people that the Beverly soda is good LOL)

We will never go back to Ohana's. Our last visit took 3 1/2 hours to finish our meal. We only got one round of skewers, our second bowl of wings were raw. One of the skewer guys had a major attitude towards us as well. It was awful, never again we will go there. It used to be my favorite too.

I only have one I can think of- Marrakesh.

Now, the service was wonderful, my dad thought it was the best meal of the trip.

I just didn't really care for my food....not my taste and the music was so darn loud, it was just distracting and took away from my enjoyment of the meal. I was relieved when they took a break.

Oh, and Cape May Cafe last time was a disappointment. I can't say I will never go back, but I can think of a ton of other places I would go to first. The items were not being replenished in a timely manner, the kid's pizza was simply goo and I couldn't get a slice out for my son, and it was just crazy hectic. I had been twice before and just loved it, but this third time was a bust. :confused3

This thread is interesting. I haven't been to any restaurant I would refuse to go back to. DS9 however, does not ever want to return to Ohana. But I also haven't been to any restaurants that have become "must do's" on our trips. Except maybe Earl of Sandwich at DD.

MGM- Sci-Fi Diner...I could spend the same for a counter-service burger and it would be better quality.

Epcot...Electric Umbrella...there are just so many better places here, why waste limited stomach space here? ;)

MK- CRT. It was fine, food was OK. We went for the character interaction, but the experience was very, very rushed. IMO, Over-hyped and over-priced.

No complaints at AK

Sci-Fi Diner - The food was wayyy over priced and not very good at all. In fact my sister swears the Ceaser Salad was the reason she was sick on the last few days. Plus it was so dark we couldnt read the menu and the service was bad.

1900 Park Fare - Not only was the food bad, but the character interaction was lacking. It was my brothers birthday and Cinderalla was actually a little mean. She let all these other little kids go up and get her autograph but told my brother to sit down even though she signed for all the others!! (and he was the quietest and most respectful one there!) It was too overpriced for the experience we had.

I will never go back to Chef Mickeys - The food was horrible and the service was bad. Very poor character Interaction - our table was skipped more than once and we had to ask if the characters could come back to our table. NEVER AGAIN

I am not a picky eater by ANY means, but you won't catch us at the San Angel again. Come on...I'm half Mexican and I didn't even like the food! I agree poor representations.

On the other hand, we loved the Sci Fi Diner! I am shocked it's getting such bad reviews. It has been 5 years since we ate there though (on our first trip to the world).

And oh my gosh...how can I forget about that WRETCHEDLY horrible pizza place Disney Studios. Was that supposesd to be pizza? Luckily, we pitched all the food and just ate junk food. That's the glory of being in the World, right?

But I do agree, I'd MUCH rather eat bad food in the World, then at home.

Pizza Planet is like eating inside a pinball machine it is SO LOUD! We walked in and walked out. Maybe the pizza was good but we did not stay to try. Maybe if you took it outside.

AK - actually like ALL of the CS offerings here (Pizzafari the least)
MGM - DISlike ALL of the CS offerings here and thought Hollywood & Vine was pretty dismal - have had good meals at all the other TS restaurants
Epcot - wouldn't rush back to Coral Reef, but I've had great meals in most of the World Showcase restaurants
MK - nothing dreadful, although I think the character dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern is overrated

Magic Kingdom:
(CS) - Any place serving those nasty, hockey puck pre-formed hamburger patties. Want a scare? Open your bun and really look at that "meat" before you bite into it. I'm not sure if they are using cat, goat, hamster or Mickey but that is certainly not any cow I know. If it is cow, its a cow that has been around the block ALOT.

(TS) LIberty Tree Tavern - Fine if you dig Stoffers frozen food. I personally am paying WAY too much dough on this trip to eat Stoffers. Also, Mickey emptied the salt into my grits making them so inedible that I almost blew chow into the nearest planter to rid my body of the salt overload. The Manager also almost had a stomach reversal when he tasted them at my pointed insistance.

Epcot:
(CS) Lotus Flower Cafe - where cold, greasy noodles go to die

(TS) Nine Dragons, China - Overpriced, mediocre chinese food. Your local Chinatown food is tons better for cheap.

MGM:
(CS) Does that heinous pizza planet count as counter service? If you like those cheap, cardboard pizzas that are found in the freezer case or in school cafeterias, you are in heaven. If you are a normal person, you will run and never come back.

(TS) Hollywood and Vine - needed a bicarb afterwards.

Animal Kingdom:
(CS) Anything McDonalds - why even contemplate putting that fat loaded, grease fried, additive filled stuff into your body.

(TS) Tuskers - decent food if you like salt. Lots of salt. A ton of salt, especially on veggies. Someone who is trying to quit smoking and killed all their taste buds kind of salt.

I'm going to try to avoid Electric Umbrella at Epcot. It was pretty terrible last time. Also, I'll never go to Teppanyaki again. I know people like it but our food was bland and half our party was sick afterwards.

PrincessAurora, I'm not opening my bun and looking closely at my hamburger and you can't make me! You are funny :rotfl: and pretty much hit the nail on the head. We buy the mediocre food, throw some ketchup or soy sauce on it and eat it with a smile on our face because we are at WDW. Could they do better? Absolutely. I'm sure the excuse is that it's all mass produced. But to be honest, I'm usually happy with my food there. Anyway, I loved the descriptions.

By the way, I love Stouffer's frozen food. Especially the macaroni and cheese :thumbsup2 and lasagna. I actually serve it at home

MGM - ABC Commissary - inedible food; Pizza Planet - smelled like fresh puke and we left and never returned.

Epcot - Rose and Crown - steak was skunky tasting and tough as an old boot - and I ordered it medium rare. Service was awful. Worst CS is Electric Umbrella.

MK - did not like Casey's - stale, dry bun fell away from the hotdog.

AK - Pizzafari - once upon a time we liked it, then the pizza seemed to change, it tasted strange, and why, I've never known.
