1) I feel your pain.
2) People buy
DDP/DxDP and expect anything expensive they want to eat.
3) It doesn't work that way.
4) For the DDP reimbursement, the Food Manager still has to make a profit.
5) The DDP was invented for WDW profit, not as a gift to guests.
6) The guest gets to pig-out, regardless of food quality or uniqueness.
7) That is what most guests want and that is what they get.
8) It is no wander that menu items are disappearing or getting dumbed-down.
NOTE: I was in Rose & Crown Pub on Monday-8/11/08 at 3:00pm, and witnessed a weird one. I spent about 45-minutes while waiting for the wife to view British Invasion in the UK rose garden. A guy and gal were arguing that the cheese plate and several beers they just finished should be covered under their "snack credits". They went on-and-on until the bartender threatened to call Security.
