Vegetables are not good friends of my kids, but they will eat as much fruit as I can put in front of them. Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberries are special favorites due to limited availability here. They also like melons and peaches, plum and apples, bananas, etc.

I want to ADR at least one restaurant a day with a good selection of these either on a buffet or available as an App / side. They will eat the most at breakfast and lunch, if that helps.

TIA!

All of the buffets have a pretty good selection of fruit. Family style meals like CRT breakfast and Ohana breakfast serve a nice fruit bowl that they will refill. For regular TS order off the menu places a fruit cup is always available as a dessert choice. For snacks there is at least 1 cart in each park that serves fruit and it's normally very good and not expensive.

I don't remember coming across many blueberries and raspberries, but melon, pineapple and strawberries are easy to find on buffets.

There is a dessert at Grand Floridian Cafe that is called a "Berry Tower". It is a no-sugar added blueberry, strawberry and raspberry fruit tower, held together by a little sugar-free gelatin (very little, mostly fruit), quite delicious, especially if you are a berry person.

Thanks! My sons would love that.

all the buffets have a good selection of fresh fruit- crystal palace i know for a fact, has strawberries as well as bananas and oranges and apples.
Most offer the choice to order a fruit cup, but i am nmot a huge fan of these as they are in that sugary syrup sometimes. Lots of grapes everywhere you go though.

You will likely never find berries (other than a few strawberries) at any of the Disney restaurants (other than as a separately purchased dessert). Why? Too expensive to serve. You will find plenty of unripe canteloup and honeydew melon, but no berries.

They don't even serve berries (not even strawberries!) for breakfast at GF RPC. Actually, I take that back. There used to be one blueberry as part of the garnish on the cheese plates. One morning, by being very alert, I actually managed to get six blueberries!

If you like berries, the best thing to do is drive (or cab) over to the grocery store that is a few lights down the street from Crossroads Plaza. I don't recall if it is a Winn Dixie or a Publix. But, they generally have wonderful raspberries that are very fresh. Not cheap, but very good.

Actually I disagree with the berries.

While dining at Crystal Palace on 1/31/11 the salad bar had a big bowl of blueberries on it.
I thought it was strange....had never seen it before, that is why I remember it.

Wow -- I may have to put Crystal Palace on my list. I've never seen berries at any buffet.

DS LOVES STRAWBERRIES.... Here we are in Florida and no strawberries on the menus? We asked for strawberries for DS at every restaurant and always got them substituted as appetizer and/or dessert. Just ask. One place even took them from the supply used for drink garnishes at the bar for us!
