Which Trading Spaces Designer....

This idea came to me after reading another thread on here about a scary Hildi dream...lol.

Which designer would you want to do your room and which designer would you want to work with?

For me, I'd want Vern to do my room and I'd want to work with Gen.

Vern or Edward to do my room, and, well.... I think I could work with just about anyone, but prefer Gen or Edward or Doug. (I find him funny.) The only person I would not want NEAR my house or myself is Kia.

I would say Vern, he has done alot of nice rooms and he seems to be fun to work with.

Holy cow - did you miss the grave blanket episode? Or the one that she made curtains out of parachutes? I think that was the worst room ever! The family was military, and they said they get enough military outside, so they want somehting different in their living room. So Kia designs with grays and blacks and - seriously - camoflage! It was really bad. I don't think I've seen a good Kia room yet. Even her rooms that are decent are haphazard and poorly-planned. (Can you tell I really don't like her? )

Wow, thats like the exact oppisite of what i would say. I I would want Neither Hildi or Kia to do my house

I would not want to work with or have Laura, Hildi or Doug to do my room. It seems whatever the homeowners don't want done is exactly what they seem determined to do. Did you see the covered up brown fireplace Doug episode where the lady had to leave the room b/c she was crying and then you hear in the background this wailing.

Wow...I must have missed those!! I only remember a couple rooms...one was the pastel green and purple living room which was VERY pretty. Then was this light brown, music-inspired kitchen which was decent. Didn't she do a room where something was hanging from the ceiling? Was that the one with the bed that hung from the ceiling? I don't remember who didn't that one...it was nice looking but really weird...

I'd like to work with Gen. We're very much alike, down to the aversion to wearing shoes! or Doug, only because it would be fun to get sarcastic with him...we'd have great banter!!! But, I'd really want Gen to do my room too! OK, I'll work with Gen and let Vern do my room.

No Kia (professional designer who uses wallpaper borders????) or Hildi (damage control would be tooo costly!!)!!! Of course I'd want Ty & Carter there...just because!!

I would let Laurie, Vern or Frank do any room in my house. They seem the most concerned with want the homeowners tastes are.

I would consider letting Gen or Edward do a room, maybe my spare bedroom. I would actually work with any of the designers.

Kia has yet to do a room I like and why does she always have to put up a border?!? Doug and Hildi are just too unpredictable. They have both done rooms I have liked, but YIKES! did you see the one where Hildi wanted to paint the carpet ORANGE!! I also hate it when she paints over upholstered furniture.

lol, yeah. I liked one room Doug did which was the home theatre...it looked so cool...HOWEVER...wasn't this a living room?! I'm sure the family used it for more than just watching TV...

As for Hildi...I know I had liked a room she has done before...I just can't remember it...it was so long ago...all I have to say!!

Kia...yeah she does use borders and I found that quite odd for a professional designer, however in her green and purple room it was alright. I think she should have just gone with crown molding instead of a border for a "complete" look.

I would like to add, carpenter wise, I'm so torn! Amy Wynn is just so empowering, Ty is the original yumminess, but that new boy...Carter.... Yummier!

I've only seen Carter once and remember he was gorge...but don't exactly remember what he looks like. But did you ever see the shirtless picture of Ty??? That's ultra-yummy right there!!
