Which Trading Spaces Designer....

I would love to work with Frank or Vern and I'd love for either of them to do a room in my house.

There is NO WAY I'd let Hildi or Genevieve near a room in my house. There was one show with the two of them where one put MOSS on the walls of a bedroom and ripped out the hardwood floors to put SLATE on the floor...just glued it on. I forget what the other did, but it was equally cheezy and neither was listening to the teams saying "don't do that, they don't want that"...

Vern and Frank-they do a lot of stuff I like. Frank for the funky side, Vern for the clean lines. Any of the carpenters would be fine.

Question is, what room to do?

I usually love what Vern and Frank do, and most of Laurie's rooms too. I would love to work with Frank or Gen. I wouldn't let Kia, Doug, or Hildi anywhere near my house. I love watching that show.

I tell DH all the time that I would love to have Frank come and do a room for me.....I love his work. I wouldn't mind Vern, he is jsut so nice. I would NOT let Laurie or Kia anywhere near my house.

I think it would be a riot to work with Frank though. He seems like a lot of fun.

I would love to have Laurie, Vern or Frank do a scrapbook room for me. I also like AmyWynn and Ty. I can't stand Kia or Hildi, and don't forget Dezand thoseweird lamps she was always making. She also was a piece of work...................LOL

I love Vern! I would want to work with him, then I'd want him to go do my bedroom, lol. If I can't work with him, I'd be fine working with anyone except Hildi or Doug I think.

I don't hate Kia...she's had some good rooms and some bad rooms. She's so hit-and-miss though that I wouldn't want her doing anything in my house.

Vern is the best for sure. Certainly the most consistent.

Kia and the borders are just awful. Doesn't she know those went out in the 80's?

Did anyone see the bathroom Hildi did... where she glued flowers all over the wall? It was hideous. How about the time she split the room down the middle and did one side grey and the other hot pink? Including the fireplace? She should have been fired for that one. Her taste is "out there" or should I say... just plain tacky.

definately Frank to do my house! I love Frank(my aunts saw him at IKEA one day! I was SOOO jealous when they told me! lol) I wouldn't mind Vern doing my room, and I guess Laurie could do it but she woudl take down the ceiling fan and we have a ceiling fan in EVERY room in our house b/c it's HOT....lol
but I really wanna just work with Ty

I wouldn't mind working with Gen, I think she would be fun! or even Frank

I wouldn't wanna work with Hildi or Doug...Hildi is WAY to out there!

Oh my God, yes!!! Both of them!! The flower bathroom COULD have looked nice but she went waaaaay overboard!!! And grey and hot pink? Hideous color combination, first of all, and diving the room like that I hated it. REALLY tacky.

Do you remember when she stuck wine labels on the walls of a kitchen? And the home owners weren't even wine drinkers?! Sheesh. She needs to learn more about the people whose room she is doing.
