Which time is best for California Grill Brunch?

I've been wanting to try the brunch at California Grill and my fiance said we can plan a weekend trip around a time I can get (there's nothing available for the two trips I have coming up). Looking at a couple different weekends I can get 10:50am, 11:05am or 12:40pm. Which of these is the best time to go? We'll probably go to Magic Kingdom before or after depending on the time of the meal. I've never been to brunch at Disney before so I was wondering if it's a type of meal it's better to get there early? I would be disappointed if the food is limited if we do the 12:40pm one.

There will not be a limit on the food. Have you looked at the menu? It's not traditional breakfast. It's a very large and diverse buffet , as many entrees as you want to eat, and all the mimosas you can drink.

No need to get there early. We ate about 10:30 then walked to MK. Took around 90 minutes or so. We were in no hurry.

I feel later is better especially if it’s hot and humid out. I would rather do the park first especially if it’s a EMH day then enjoy a relaxing meal. This is an experience to savor not rush through. You might need a nap after the mimosas.

Go when you think you would want to eat a bunch. We usually try and go later. At 10 am my stomach does flips when I eat a lot. Noon for us is better. Whatever you think is best.

One actually popped up for my next upcoming trip for 10:10am We were planning to go to Animal Kingdom this day and our first fast pass is for 11:40am. Is this reservation early enough to make it to the park after and our fast pass? Our should I stick with going up a different weekend for this meal?

I’ve gone twice. Once at 10:40 and once at 12:15. I found I ate more and relaxed more at the 10:40 one. I was anxious to get to the park after the later one.

The food quality and amount were the same at both and the room was about 3/4 full from each.

I would take any time I could get for 5/20. I can go with 6 or 10 people.

I would pick a later time. I would do rope drop at MK and then go for brunch. If I felt up to it I would go back to MK and wander Main St or back to my resort.

Does your FP start at 11:40? If so, you have until 12:40 to enter the ride. That should give you enough time. I would suggest taking and Uber or Lyft from the Contemporary to Animal Kingdom, though.
