I had my MK itinerary all done, and just discovered that Disney has added a 10:00 p.m. Spectro for Oct. 1. Our plans were to tour the park until our 2:40 p.m. ADR at CRT and then leave for a little while, to return around 7:00 p.m. for the 8:00 p.m. Spectro. I don't know what to do now?!? Which one should we see? Is one less crowded than the other? We are planning on seeing Wishes at 9:00 p.m. if that helps with the advice - please help!

GO TO THE 2ND SPECTRO!!! It is mostly always less crowded, depending on the time. That way, you don't have to rush, and it's easier to get out of the park! Either Spectro- enjoy! It is truely wonderful.

That's what we're planning to do!!! :wizard:

I would agree with the 10pm show -- however, as a word of warning, pick a side of the park (Adventureland or Tomorrowland/Fantasyland) and stay there. With Spectro moving through Main Street and Frontierland, it may be difficult to cross-parkhop. Like others have said, the lines won't be bad (especially in Fantasyland), but you just need to remember that your ability to move may be impeded.

I always try to do the second Spectro as well. We do the attractions during the first parade, then head to a decent spot for Wishes and then head towards Frontierland for the late parade. Be aware though...a lot of people are trying to leave the park after Wishes. I felt like a salmon swimming upstream in June!!! I was trying to get to Liberty Sq. and everyone else was trying to get out to Main St to leave the park!!!

WHere'd you see there was a second one? I looked at wdw.com hours & it says only one at 8pm? I'd love it if there were a 2nd one while we're there the following week?

See how your kids feel, what you plan to do the next day, if there are any rides you want to ride at night. For our summer trip I really wanted to see the second parade and then Wishes, but it just worked out better to see the first. Also, a lot of people are making a mad dash to get out of the park after Wishes. I would stay off of main street.

Hi, I also would like to know where you find the parades scheduled? I had it at one point because I have them written down but I forgot where I saw it and I want to go back. Please help thanks! Hmmm I also have to decide 8 or 10 for the 1st. It's our last night there so I think I will see the 10 to make it last all the longer.

I went to www.disney.com, clicked on "calendar," chose MK hours for October, and then clicked on October 1. I had been checking periodically because TGM said that Spectro was at 9:00 p.m. that night, followed by Wishes at 10:00 p.m. I think that is the case for October 8, but not October 1. Back to the drawing board!

I think I will take the advice of many of you who suggest riding attractions during the 8:00 p.m. Spectro, staking out our spot for Wishes and then working our way over to Frontierland (avoiding Main Street!) for the 10:00 p.m. Spectro.

I went to the fun and games disney site following your link...

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/

finally clicked to get ^

I'm hoping to get extended hours our week in October!! (fingers crossed smilie here!) :flower: But the darn thing still shows EMH night on Oct 7 - and we know that's an MNSSHP nite... come on already!! :Pinkbounc :wizard:

AHAHA Spectro on the Oct 8 two times people!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Another question. We plan to leave the park around 4:00 p.m. and return around 7:30 p.m. Will we even be able to get to Tomorrowland in light of the fact that Main Street will probably be filling up with people for the 8:00 p.m. Spectro? Should we shoot for 7:00 p.m. instead? We want to do the attractions in Tomorrowland while the 8:00 p.m. Spectro is going on.

You should be fine. Even if they have the street roped off, they have cast members making sure traffic can get by those watching the parade.
