We need to make a choice between the Illuminations "Speciality Cruise" and the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise.

Which do you prefer and why.

Thanks!!!

Well, I can't compare because I have never done the Illuminations cruise but I can tell you that the MK fireworks cruises are great. We have done them twice and would not hesitate to book again!! Honestly some of the best $$$ we spent in WDW.

I've done them both and my first choice would be for the Illuminations cruise. You seem to get more "show" for your money. Of course, I wouldn't turn down either one.

Hands down Illuminations! I thought the MK cruise was way too far away from the show. Illuminations you have front row seats! Have fun!

We have done the Illuminations cruise 3 times it was always great. We had the same Captain all three times it was special because of that too. His name is Captain Ron. He is great.

Just my little opinion. We haven't done the MK cruise yet.

Diane.

I have done both numerous times.
They both have some very special Disney Magic.

MK - LOTS to see and do before and after the fireworks. Tour Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, all the resorts, the Wedding Chapel and more. If your timing is right, you may get to the the Electrical Water Pageant. ZOOM around Bay Lake, there are many areas the pilot can "open up" the 55hp engine.
The fireworks are very beautiful with the castle as a backdrop.

IllumiNations - UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL! You don't get much closer when it comes to fireworks and BOOMS! Enjoy a relaxing tour of Crescent Lake, Y&BC, Swan & Dolphin, and MGM. Not many opportunities for the pilot to zip around due to the smaller lake areas and the ever present Friendship Boats.
Pull up to the docking area without fighting for a "good spot" on the rail, enjoy the show and really have the opportunity to fully understand exactly what the show is all about, without pushing, shoving and other distractions. Then after enjoy a view of the countries from World Showcase and a leisurely ride back to the dock.

If I was going to do both, I would do the Magic Kingdom first. If I had a choice I would "try" to get IllumiNations first.

Mike
