Which Disney song or theme park music tugs at your heart the most and makes you remember your trips to WDW?

Mine is the Entrance music to Space Mountain. That particular theme music makes me remember being a kid visiting WDW in the late 70's, early 80's.

And a close second is the monorail speil.

Back in the day the Poly and the Contemporary were the only hotels to stay at.

For me it's the song they play after illuminations at Epcot, "We'll go on" I think it's called - pretty heart-warming.

The EPCOT entrance song
*tear*
I think its caled; "America Spread your Golden Wings"
or something like that
but, I hear it and I image myself walking into EPCOT for the 1st time in what seems like FOREVER!!!

It just gives me those chills...:lovestruc

and CAJUNWDWFAN; I agree with you 110% on the Space Mountain Music.

I always get the Pirates of the Caribbean song in my head. I agree with Cajun about the monorail thing being a close second. We put out the monorail set at Christmas and I push the button on it a lot (it says what they say on the real monorail)

There are so many I can't choose. Just to name a couple I love "A Pirates Life For Me" and "Grim Grinning Ghosts".:earsboy:

For us it has to be the background music at MGM Studios. That has to be our favorite park, visiting with the characters and the parades. We love it there:)

I enjoy the music from Tapestry, now played after Illuminations, at Epcot closing. I so loved that parade, miss it so. :(

For me it has always been, "A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes"

"America Spread Your Golden Wings" is the song that they play at the end of the American Adventure show, not at the entrance to the park...but I do love it very much. I guess I love a lot of the old songs..."Tomorrow's Child" that they used to play at the end of Spaceship Earth, "Making Memories" from the Captain Nemo pre-show (now Honey I Shrunk the Audience preshow- "True Colors" and the "Now Is The Time, Now is the Best Time" from CoP (although I know that the song they play now is the original I think, I just can't get into "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" quite as well.) And of course, I couldn't live without my CD of the Main Street Electrical Parade. But I do really really love the sounds of Spectromagic now.
Oh, I just thought of another oldie...the old song from the Land boat ride..."Listen to the Land" way better than the new song....

I totally agree with all of the ones mentioned so far! I just had to add in "You Can Fly" from the Peter Pan ride.

Another vote for the song at the end of Illuminations - Truly brings tears to me eyes everytime!

whenever I hear "You'll Be In My Heart" from Tarzan on the radio i get the chills and tear up. It makes me feel like I'm right back in Disney sitting in Tarzan Rocks!

Oh yes, Luigi's Girl, that is another good one. I am the same way when I hear that song!!!!!!!!! :earsboy:

In MGM, they play classic movie themesongs and the one that always gets me is the theme song from Gone With the Wind. That's when I know I'm in WDW :)

Walking into Epcot and hearing that music is the greatest feeling for me. It's like coming home.

I do love the "Por Favor Mantenga se Alejadro de las puertas" from the monorail. It's the only Spanish phrase I know!

Oh, yes!!!!

"Now is the time, now is the best time of your life..." and I am singing as I type!! It was the best and do you know they kept copies of the music at the entrance because so many people asked for it???

"America, Spread Your Golden Wings" at American Adventure always brings misty eyes..

And walking into EPCOT is so wonderful that as much as I like entering at International Gateway, I love the main entrance and hearing the music, seeing Spaceship Earth...gives me chills!

The Monorail speech is such a great memory of the first time I took my kids in 1981- we all repeated it for months remembering our incredible Disney vacation :)

But best of all for me, because it brings both Disneyland and WDW together, is "A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes"..I get misty just hearing it in my head:)

So many wonderful memories:)
EDIT: And the ORIGINAL Tiki Room - what were they thinking when they changed it??? Wish they would change it back!
