I am thinking of trying a 2TS meal for our next trip. I was wondering which one is the best in your opinion? What do you order that is sooo good?

The only thing we don't eat is sushi.

Thanks!

Before I give any opinions on food, I'm first going to give my opinion on using TS credits on a signature. If you are on the DDP (1 TS, 1 CS, 1 snack) I wouldn't use 2 credits on a signature. There is no real $$$ value to it. If you figure that the average TS credit is valued at $30, that means you are spending $60 per person, which doesn't include any wine/beer/cocktail, it doesn't include an appitizer and it doesn't include tip. I know if we (my girlfriend and I) are eating at a nice restaurant we usually have appitizers, entrees, desert and a drink or 2. After spending 2 TS credits ($60) for the entree and desert, then add the $10 drink, $15 appitizer and deserving tip per person, you have to consider that it will cost an additional $30-$50 per person. Now a meal that normally would cost for everything about $70 per person could run you $100 per person. Not a wise use of credits, at least not for us.

Now with that out of the way, to the question at hand. We are personally big fans of Flying Fish and Shula's (not on the dining plan). From our experience FF is the best place for seafood and Shula's has the best steak on property. We also like Jiko, Citricos and Artist Point.

Also, who is included in your party? Is it just adults? Young ones? Tween/teens? Depending on who is there may depend on not only which restaurant food-wise is best, but also where you might be most comfortable. Cali. Grill for example is pretty kid friendly compaired to other signatures. FF can also get on the loud side. A place like Citricos or Artist Point tend to be much quieter and more romantic.

Citrico's is the best and we have been to all of them except AP

Flying fish, Yachtsman, and Narcoossee are my favorites. California Grill is good, as is Citricos. We are doing Artist Point for the first time this May. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

California Grill is our favorite, with Flying Fish as number two. We've tried evey one except Yachtsmen's, and none have been bad, though some better than others.

Yachtsman was amazing when we went for the first time last month.

This is our first trip and we decided on a handful to try. We have ADRs for Citricos, Narcoosees, Artist Point, Brown Derby, Flying Fish and California Grill. I'm glad to see positive reviews and hope they live up to expectations, especially since I will be paying oop.

I don't think you can go wrong. We've been to California Grill, Brown Derby, Artist Point, Jiko, and Narcoossee. My favorite is Artist Point, and my DH's favorite is Jiko. My kids have liked them all because of the fancy kid desserts. We're trying Flying Fish in March.

Before telling you which ones we like the best, I'd first like to suggest you consider simply picking which ever one is more convenient to where you are staying. That's because all the Sig's will give you a great meal - its really just a matter of what you like. The reports you'll read here are simply people's opinion and may not necessarily reflect your experience/preferences.

With that aside our favorites, more or less in order, are:
  1. Yachtsman Steak House
  2. Citrico's
  3. Jiko
  4. Narcoossees
  5. Artist Point
  6. Flying Fish

I've only eaten at Narcoossee's, but I really liked it. We had the filet mignon, lobster, and surf and turf for entrees and all three were done really well. We also had the calamari appetizer and that was amazing. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse and the sorbets, both of which were also very well presented and tasted great. I would quite happily go back!

Allow me to plug Artist Point. My girlfriend and I ate there on Saturday night. I had the Buffalo, medium rare, and she had the Cedar Plank Salmon. Both dishes were excellent, the Buffalo strip was perfect! Our server knew his wine(I know reds not whites). He suggested a sweeter Rheisling for her, I had the Claret Cab. Presentation was supberb as was the service. If your looking for a great wine selection I highly suggest Artist Point! Oh also had the Crab Cake app, never saw so much crab in one cake! Thats my humble plug!

Hi there.......

joining into this thread. I also have the same question. Wondering about a good signature TS. I will be paying OOP, won't use credits for it (for reasons someone has already posted).

I have looked over and over the menus and most look good. It will be my mom and I. We would probably prefer it somewhat quiet. Nothing overly loud. that is kind of why we are looking at signature.

I had been interested in Fultons, because of the setting it looked so nice. Any thoughts on that?

I think the one thing we aren't overly interested in is steak, were we live, we have some killer steakhouses:) We want different (maybe not sushi??)

Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated:)

Favorite 2 TS is Citricos. Bluezoo or Il Mulino if paying OOP.

I would go with either Narcoossee's or the Yachtsman. We like the surf&turf at Narcoossee's since the lobster tails are HUGE, not to mention the excellent service too.

My preferences, in order, based strictly on the food:

Flying Fish
Citricos
Jiko
Ca Grill (we love sushi, without the sushi, I'd rank this under Brown Derby)
Brown Derby
Yachtsman
Artist Point
Narcoosees

I think the atmosphere at some is better than others. If you have children in your group, I think Citricos and Yachtsman are pretty boring. The others have better decor, views, etc.
