which should I choose? Narcoossees or Citricos

Well, do you want seafood? Narcoossee's is known for seafood.

Do you want a view? Narcoossee's has some prime real estate!

What kind of atmosphere are you looking for? I find Narcoossee's to be "beachy-casual". While, Citrico's is a bit more upscale.

My pick is for Narcoossees.

Narcoossees is a little more casual, which I liked. I'm also a big seafood fan of seafood, so this appealed to me more and the views are spectacular.
I also liked that it's so close to the launch to MK. We went for a fantastic early dinner then jumped on the boat to MK for MNSSHP!

We had dinner at both places in August and December 2009. In our experiences, Citricos was better. Food and service are more refined than at Narcoossee's. We had a not so good experience at Narcoossee's in fact, and we are not returning there for our next trip this July/August, but we'll be back at Citricos. It's my DS12's favorite restaurant in all of WDW, and it's certainly in my top 3.

I think the food and service at Citricos is far superior to Narcoossee's. I would definitely go with Citricos.

Try to schedule your ADR early enough that you will finish eating before Wishes. The you can walk down to the dock to watch after your meal.

I agree-Citrico's is the better restaurant. No need to go to Narcoossee's just to see Wishes.

Another fan of Citricos. I like both, but if I could only do one, it'd be Citricos.

I love their crab gateau. I also love their pork loin and steak. They used to have a really good berry gratin too, but it's off the menu now. Then again I love Narcoosee's almond cheesecake, mussels, and scallops. I usually order the Surf & Turf and substitute scallops for the lobster. Oops, sorry I wasn't much help was I?

We love them both.

Citricos is more upscale and quiet, the food is divine, the waitstaff sweet as can be and quick with the refills. There's no real view from the restaurant other than the GF gardens.

Narcoossees is our anniversary dining place though. It's louder, service is slower. The food is really worth the wait though. It's about the only place to get lobster on the DDP.

If it was up to me (not DH) we would spend our anniversary dinner at Citricos. They really make you feel special in there.

On my recent trip we went to Narcoosees. There were 4 of us. Everyone love their meal but me. I do have to say I will give it another try though. I will be doing a report on the restaurant review board. It really was a very nice restaurant and our server was wonderful.

Also Citrico's is probably one of my favorite restaurants at Disney.

I will agree that Citrico's has excellent service and is a bit more sophisticated; however, I prefer the menu selection at Narcoossee's over Citrico's. I love Narcoossee's location and views, the service is still excellent, and I love the surf & turf. Narcoossee's is a must do for us every visit.

We were not crazy about Narcoossee's, so I'll have to vote for Citricos.

We went to Narcoosees for the seafood, and while the food was great, we had a mediocre table location in a nearly empty restaurant, and the service was peremptory (until it came time to sign for the bill).

We went to Citricos for convenience as we wanted a 2 TS meal near MK, and found the atmosphere more refined, service excellent, and food was twice as good again as it sounded on the menu, which is pretty unusual. Usually menus sound better than the reality!

I'd go back to both, but if I had to choose between the two based on previous experience I'd choose Citricos. I think on a different day or at a different time Narcoosees would have been a better experience than it was. It wasn't bad, we enjoyed the food, but wasn't as good as Citricos.

Citrico's, definitely. The food and service are much better than Narcoossee's. My DH refuses to return to Narcoossee's after our last dining experience there--marginal service, and a lot of screaming kids (for some reason--don't know what the issue was, but it seemed a lot noisier than other WDW TS restaurants). If you have a table with a view, you lose your view when the fireworks come on, as a bunch of people get on the verandah to look at the fireworks--so really, there is no "fireworks view" for diners.
