Which Secret Porthole Room Do You Think Is the Best ??

I have looked at the views of the Secret Porthole Rooms and was wondering if any one of those rooms was particularly better then the rest.

If you don't need adjoining rooms then definitely go with either 5020 or 5520. If you need adjoiners then you would want to go with 5522/5524 or 5022/5024. I have pics of 5522/5524 on my website linked below.

We have 5520 for our cruise in 6.5 wks (thanks Michelle). From the pictures on Barb's site it looks like 5020 & 5520 are least obstructed. (And we didnt need a connecting room)

We had 5020 on our 7/6 Western and loved it also - hardly any obstruction at all. If I had a choice, I would go for 5020 or 5520, but if they aren't available, definitely take one of the other rooms, you won't be sorry, the location of these rooms are wonderful.

Yes, the "20's" (5520 and 5020) are definitely the least obstructed, as well as being non-adjoiners, so those are the only two I book. We were in 5524 (adjoiner) once and had a family of kickboxers next door...the kids loved to slam each other into the adjoining door. But all of the SPRs are in a great, convenient location. We were in 5520 on our three-peat and it was a short walk to the elevators and a quick jaunt down to the theater or nightclubs.

DW Sue was in 5520 a couple of weeks ago and could not believe that they classify the room as an obstructed view!!! She thought the view was terrific (although not quite as good as the view from a Cat4 room up on deck 8). So I'll cast her vote for 5520.
