So, my kids are at an age that we can no longer pull them out of school for 4-5 days. So we are stuck going to WDW over a school holiday. This year, we are trying the Thurs-Monday of Columbus Day weekend bc my kids have fall break. For years, I had heard it was less crowded then, but more recent research tells me maybe not so much anymore.
We've done WDW the week between Christmas and New Years, and we're never doing that again.
One year we did Spring Break at a time when Easter fell after the break (rare). That wasn't too bad, I'd say crowds were a 6 or 7, but that timing re: Easter won't happen again for a while.
A couple of years ago, we went the week after Memorial Day, because our schools break early for summer. I'd have said the crowds were about a 7 or so.
So, for all us who have no other choice but to go when the kids are out of school: of all the holiday/school break times, which are the least crowded in your opinion/experience?
