I'm thinking of rides like Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, etc....There will be DH, myself, DD4 and DD1.5. Would all of us fit in a doombuggy? I'm trying to plan ahead, and if I know which rides, can prepare older DD to pick to sit w/mommy or daddy, and then switch for the next ride like that. Thanks!

We are a family of 5 , DS9, DS5, DS5. Last time we went the twins were 3, we could ride together on Piratespirate:, Tea Cups, and Small World. One of us could ride with 2 boys on most other rides - Peter Pan, Pooh, Haunted mansion, Buzz Lightyear (all the boys wanted to shoot anyway). On some rides the other parent would ride the car in front and take a picture, and also help us off at the end of the ride. I hope this will still work when we go in November. If 3 of us can not fit, we will have some problems too.

Your 1 1/2 year old daughter could sit on your lap and all 4 of you could ride Haunted Mansion, and Peter Pan. Now that I think about it, as long as you or your dh aren't too big, you should be able to ride most of the rides in Fantasyland together with the baby on your lap. Or have one child/one parent in the front and the other child/other parent in the back, like on Winnie the Pooh or Snow White.

I really need to plan another trip sooner...I'm thinking about my last trip a few months ago and how much fun we all had on those rides at Fantasyland!!! :)

Peter Pan, Small World, Alladin, Pirates of Carribean, Winnie the Pooh, Teacups, the train, there's a ride by the Buzz Lightyear one that is up in the air, kinda looks like a fast train thing,

At Animal Kingdom - safari, triceratops

Spaceship Earth sits 2 and 2 in each car. So you would be in your own car, I would probably do one adult and one child in each row, the baby could sit on your lap or not, whatever works for you.

Spaceship Earth is a two seater, with the speakers in each of the headrests, so I think you've have to split up on that one.

Peter Pan could be tight with three across and the person in the middle won't get much of a view. It may depend on the CM about whether you get put in two ships.

Same squeeze for Haunted Mansion, but there is a bit more room in the Doom Buggies for three across. That will leave the hitchiking ghost sitting on top of someone at the end. . . ;)

Pirates you can all sit together as well as It's A Small World. However, I do not think that sitting four people to a Doom Buggy in HM would work too well. Even if you sat the 1 year old on your lap a safety bar comes down across your lap and that would make things very tight. Not to mention even if you and your husband are thin people, with four people you will be cramped :earseek:

Just wanted to add the People Mover (TTA) to your list (each car fits 4 people facing one another!).

Just wanted to let you know that we had 2 adults, 1 child and an infant in doom buggy and we had enough space. Child wanted to be in the middle as a little nervous

I didn't realize SpaceShip Earth was only 2 per seat. It's so awkward for a family of 5. I'm glad Soarin is 5 across - at least that's what it looked like on the planning DVD (or wherever I saw it).
I wish they had this info (how many per car) in one of the guidebooks. It would be good to have it in the back of your mind. No surprises.

You can do 4 in the doom buggies, 2 adults, child in the middle, and infant on your lap. Same for Peter Pan.
Winnie the Pooh is 2 in front and 2 in back.
Buzz Lightyear is 2 only because there are only 2 guns.
Goofy's Barnstormer - 2 each row
Pirates of the Carribean - all 4 in one row - same as IASW
TTA - 4 in one unit - 2 and 2 facing each other
Indy Speedway - 2 in each car
Dumbo - 2 only or Mom and 2 kids - same with Alladin Carpet ride and Triceratops
Great Movie Ride - All in one row
Spaceship Earth - 2 in front, 2 in back
Journey into Imagination - all in one row
Living with the Land - all in one row
El Rio del Tiempo - all in one row - same as Maelstrom
Kilimanjaro Safari - all in one row
