Planning our upcoming trip for Oct and I would love to hear your hidden gems! Things that you or your family love that are not as popular. Our kids are 2 & 7 and we have been a few times before so I feel like we have a good gauge on the popular things that we will do. A couple of things on our list are to ride Figment and visit Tom Sawyer Island.
I am looking forward to hearing everyone’s favorites!

in EPCOT I really enjoy watching Awesome Planet in The Land Pavilion after riding Soarin’ and LwtL. The circle vision show in China is also wonderful.

In MK I adore The Enchanted Tiki Room and Carousel of Progress.

In AK I would say any trail is worth doing. You can spend a lot of time watching lots of animals and exploring the different parts of the Tree of Life.

Enchanted Tiki Room is my all time favorite low-key thing. Never much of a wait, awesome original/classic animatronics, you can grab a dole whip before. And the music is so much fun--those songs'll be stuck in your head all day!

I also really enjoy just exploring the Epcot world showcase pavilions. I know that doesn't sound off the beaten track, but you'd be surprised how many people just eat and drink and shop along the main path around the lagoon, leaving the inner pavilions empty. I like to walk past the waterfall and gardens in Canada, through the little hedge maze in England, explore every nook in the Morocco pavilion, look at the Koi ponds in Japan (and you MUST check out the bonsai displays if you are there during the Flower & Garden festival). It's a treasure trove and a nice break from the crowds too.

I don't know why people don't give more love to the Laugh Floor. We were always told to avoid it, and we just decided to go in one time, and it was an instant favorite. You have to love dumb jokes (even dumber than Jungle Cruise), and trust me, my group lives deep in that well.

I had a severe dislike of the Tiki Room under new management. I never liked that change. The new old show is MUCH better. I preferred the original, but this is close enough, and still one of my favorites.

I am also a big fan of Ariel's Adventures. Mainly because she's one of my favorite princesses.
