Which rides and shows do you refuse to do and why?

Stitch - Need I say more?

Oh yes.. I fully agree on Stitch. I tried it once, that's all. It's a rehash of the previous ride and such a disappointment. I predict it won't last long.

DD doesn't like rollercoasters so we don't do them. I don't mind. I'm not crazy about them either. It is somewhat unfortunate. We just got an email from her agent asking if she would like to be in a commercial for EE that will be filming on Monday. She said that DD would have to ride EE 4 or 5 times in a 4 hour period. DD isn't home from school yet, but I know what her answer will be. NO!

Have tried but won't ride again:

MK: teacups-my head spins thinking about it.

Have not tried and won't try:

MK: Stitch-do not like unpleasant smells and Stitch annoys me.

Epcot: MS -why suffer both claustrophobia and vertigo?

MGM: TOT-to think in college I used to think it was funny to
feel the earth slip from under me.

IOA:HULK:UMMM NOOOO. It's impolite to throw up on people
standing under the coaster.
Have not tried but will this trip:

MK: Splash Mountain

MGM: RnR- at least if I throw up there are no innocent bystanders.

I too refuse to ride the teacups. My DH is the one that has to take our DS on that one. Mine is leftover trauma from a summer job in high school. I worked at Six Flags and my first job was running the Drunken Barrels (same theory... spinning barrels that the idiots who got in them could make spin faster...). Let's just say that as the rookie, my job involved a garden hose and a squeegie. Pretty much killed any joy that a ride like that could evoke.

I haven't been to WDW since 1987 (going in 29 days!!) but I go to DLR a lot and I get motion sickness, but last time I went (4 weeks ago) I tried the ear patch from the doctor and it was GREAT! I could ride Soarin and ToT...but I still refuse Star Tours-I don't like the ride and even though it might not make me sick-I am not willing to try it again-it's outdated! It needs a new movie in there!

I also am not fond of the Teacups and I will NOT be trying Mission Space next month-I don't think a hundred ear patches would help!!! :earsgirl:

One time I was sitting behind a row of teenage boys on the Hulk coaster and one of them vomited soon after the ride took off!! Luckily I only felt a wet speck on my forehead, but the girl on the end of my row (of 4) was freaking out when we were getting off at the end, saying "Oh my God!!" and wringing her hands. It must have blown back right at her when we were riding. :crazy2: The boy was telling his friends "Dude, I puked!" They weren't impressed.

I ABSOLUTELY refuse to even step foot into STITCH'S GREAT ESCAPE!

I went in there when it was Alien Encounter, and it was THE BIGGEST waste of time I ever experienced in my 25 year lifetime. And I heard that all they did on that attraction was repalce "the alien" with Stitch. And I'm not even a big Stitch fan in the 1st place, so BLAH!!! to Stitch's Stupid Escape!

So, I think I'll dodge that one ----> :duck:

Kali Water Rapids I was got so wet
Chester and Hecter's Dino Rama too much spinning for me

Mission Space - Fear of the unknown.
Dumbo and Tea Cups - No interest whatsoever.

I refuse to ever step foot into Mission Space ever again...in no way was it scary or thrilling, all it did was make me extremly nauseaus :crazy2:. It's like those gravitrons in other parks which I dont do anyways...I didnt know Mission Space was like that until I went on it...Had I known, I wouldve never went on it in the first place!

:wizard: :pug:

MK- Hall of Presidents- way too boring for me and my young kids, Country Bear Jamboree- I just don't like it, last trip DH took DD while I took DS on Buzz (AGAIN!), AstroOrbiters in Tomorrowland are just too high for me now- I didn't used to be afraid of heights, Splash Mountain- I avoid wet rides b/c I don't like getting blisters on my feet and looking like a rat the rest of the day! :scared:
Epcot- not much I won't do- but I'm also not a big Epcot fan
MGM- TOT scares me- love roller coasters but not things that drop you like that!, Sounds Dangerous- just weird to me!
AK-the DinoLand just doesn't appeal to me- more like a carnival

Oh yeah! I forgot about Hall of Presidents- yuck! My mom used to make us go in there as kids and we would whine about it, but she would say we have to see the Hall of Presidents or we can't go on Space Mt. We had to do some educational stuff while we were there.
But the only reason why I do like the attraction there (even though I don't go to see it) is because of the classicness of it, it's been there forever. Liek Country Bear Jamboree and Carousel of Progress. I don't go to see any of those things, but they're more like memorabilia to me.

Oh yes, I also forgot to mention Body Wars, that simulator ride in Epcot...there wasnt a moment after getting off the ride where I didnt have to run to the bathroom and heave. eww, gross! :crazy2: Lucky for me, I dont think it's there anymore! :cool1:

:wizard: :pug:

I will never go on another WOODEN roller coaster. I went on one at Six Flags over Texas and I've never been more scared in my life! The whole structure sawayed as the cars sped by! :scared:

You couldn't even get me on the Superman ride (Six Flags) or the Maliboomer at DL. I went on one of those types of rides once and came off crying (yeah i know i'm a wimp!) Didn't really like TOT for the same reason, but the theming is way too much fun not to try it again.

i won't do the teacups or star tours again-don't wanna be sick on holiday!!
as for IOA,i wouldn't ride doom again and will be giving sinbads show a miss too-unless the rain comes pouring down!!

I did Stitch once and never again.....I felt so uncomfortable and just wanted to get out....the smells made it worse and I was ready to get up and leave.

Lets see......

Tower of Tower - I'm scared of heights, and the free fall feeling and Mission Space- I'm alittle claustrophobic.

Everything else I try and ride.

I avoid Wet and Wild all together! It's a trampy concrete slab with an overstock of people.

I won't go on Tea Cups. It's not the ride, but rather my husband - he insists on spinning that so fast that the Gforce hurts my neck for days. :upsidedow

MK- Teacups and Haunted Mansion
EPCOT- Soarin and Mission Space
MGM-RocknRoll Roller Coaster
AK- Kali River Rapids and spinning roller coaster (can't remember the name)

Good topic.

I don't see the Indiana Jones Stunt Show anymore. It hasn't changed since the park opened. (Unless it has changed in recent years - I don't see it anymore.) In addition, that plant in the audience gets tiresome after a while.

This attraction needs to be refreshed.
