We will be going to Magic Kingdom at the end of September. We will be visiting on a Tuesday when EMM will be going on. We have a 8:05am PPO Be Our Guest reservation. After breakfast, should we jump in the Mine Train line and Fastpass Peter Pan later or jump in Peter Pan line and Fastpass Mine Train later? Is it a wash??

We have had more luck walking on PP at rope drop than we did 7DMT. Last year, we went straight back to 7DMT at rope drop, and there was already a huge line. I'd FP 7DMT, personally.

FP SDMT and standby in PP.
The interactive queue is very entertaining, and like Alesia said, much better than the ride itself.

When we were there in early September we had PPO BOG at 8:05 a.m. We were out of breakfast at 8:40 a.m. and by 9:00 a.m. we had ridden 7DMT 3 times and were speeding through the PP regular queue.

I had a PPO BOG and I had a 9 am fp for PP, 10 am for 7DMT, then SM. Our strategy was to jump on 7D at the end of breakfast then do PP. that would allow us to drop the fp for 7D and pick up something else. EXCEPT 7 D was down. Until 10:30. So we did Pooh then PP all the while checking for 7D to open up. When it finally did the fp line was as long as standby so we just did other things. SM was down all morning and finally opened up after 1 pm. So don't always count on being able to jump in a ride. I'm glad we had the fp because that allowed us to access it any time.
