Which ride do YOU think is scariest at DLR?

I can't even think about getting on Mickey's Terror Wheel without getting anxious and nauseous. DH took our 2 younger kids(5 and 3) on it, while our 7 year old happily stayed on the ground with me.

DH really wants to do the swinging gondola, he may be doing that by himself!

I love ALL the rides at DLR, but if I had to pick a scariest (or the one I think would scare most people), I would go with ToT. It's dark, has huge drops, and is unpredictable.

I also love taking newbies for a ride on the swinging gondolas. Be sure to make them ride "backwards" so they don't see it coming. Got my sister and my MIL with that one.:joker:

I was pondering this as I took my son on TOT for the first time yesterday. And I'm going with TOT. The theming, the fact that you drop multiple times -- scary on a lot of levels! (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it, and my son did, too!)

CA Screaming is a blast, but both because you can kind of see what's coming and the fun music, it just doesn't have the scare factor to me.

What's your vote?

Totally Tower of Terror - It's the ONLY ride at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World I've ever been ACTUALLY scared on. I've never done it a second time and I ride everything!!

Haven't done it yet, but I'm going with the swinging gondolas on Mickey's Fun Wheel.

I did those in 2006. Don't think I have EVER screamed that loud in my life. Pretty sure everyone down below was laughing at me. When we were there in 2013 we went on the gondolas again only this time we were in the NONE swinging line LOL

The ferris wheel at DCA. I remember seeing all of those people on tv stuck on it for hours in the 90+ degree heat last year.

ToT is more an irrational fear for me, and the fun wheel is more of a "what if a bolt breaks and the car goes flying off and lands in the water and we drown" kind of fear.

I'll go on ToT when we go in a few weeks, probably multiple times. I *might* go on the fun wheel. Maybe.

For me it's Mickey's Fun Wheel, California Screaming and Goofy's SKy School. I am absolutey scared of ferris wheels and both those coasters scare the living daylights out of me.

I love the swinging gondolas! Ha

DD (5) finally meets the height requirements for most rides. She wants ToT! We told her no of course. I remember taking my then 8 year old niece on it. She was so excited. Then cried throughout. Both in story and the drops

I always thought it was the swinging gondolas, until I finally broke down and rode one. It was not fun, or even pleasant, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Not a fan of Ferris wheels in the first place. My vote goes to Goofy's Sky School. I'm never disappointed when we just don't seem to fit that attraction in on a trip. Who wants to feel like they are going to fall off a tiny roller coaster?

Am I the only one who genuinely thinks Snow White's Scary Adventure is the scariest ride? I mean, the whole stinkin' thing gives me the creeps. We still ride it, but yeah. Oddly enough, none of the "thrill rides" are rides I find scary. Yes, I scream, but that's more because it feels good to scream, not because I'm scared.

Got to be TOT.
It's not that it "scares" me - I know nothing is going to happen but I hate the feeling of negative G's.

The only attraction I find scary at DLR is Mickey's Fun Wheel. None of the others scare me at all. Maybe that's because I've ridden them quite a bit?? Not sure. But Mickey's Fun Wheel scares me! I do like it, though ;-)
