Which ride do YOU think is scariest at DLR?

I'm absolutely terrified of heights and I hate rides with vertical drops, so Mickey's Fun Wheel and ToT get my votes for scariest rides at DLR. I've actually never been on Mickey's Fun Wheel, but I can't bring myself to go on it to conquer my fear. It's just not worth the anxiety. I went on ToT once and vowed that I would never put myself through that torture again.

I do want to add that I'm a roller coaster fanatic. I never pay attention to the height when I'm on a roller coaster because I'm having so much fun!

I can't ride Soarin' so that gets my vote. I'm afraid because even though you're strapped in, there's nothing covering your chest area so it just feels to much like a bench to me. I can't help but think of what happens when it goes down, which it does, and the film stops and they have to turn on the lights!

Drops terrify me, so TOT and Splash. I will not go on them. Mickey's Wheel of Death is right behind. Swinging part only. I'm sure I would be perfectly happy of I didn't feel like I was rocketing to my death! Or if there was some kind of bar or at least a seatbelt!

Tea Cups! I dislike rides that spin and that ride is a double spinner (ride spins and so do the tea cups).

Astro Orbiters! It's the only thing I've ridden at DLR that has freaked me out, but I always freak out silently because the kids like it.

We haven't even gone yet and I know for a FACT that I won't be doing ToT, Goofy's and maybe even not Screamin'... and I'll be happy to watch the kids do the spinny rides. I might try Astro Orbiters and those kind of centrifugal force rides... but then again I might be too tired/sore/not feeling well ;).

I know DH won't go on Mickey's Fun Wheel of Doom because he's terrified of heights (not my fave but I can handle it) and probably not ToT either. Can't see him wanting to do Screamin' either.

The kids won't do ToT, mostly based on their imaginations - the storyline would be too much for them.

It's A Small World! Those dolls are the things nightmares are made of!

Just kidding. The Swinging Gondolas of Death on Mickey's Fun Wheel are probably the scariest thing at Disneyland.

Mickey's Wheel of Death for me too! I went once on the non-swinging the year they opened, and never again. I was with my BFF & she said my face looked like I had seen a ghost it was so pale! My fearless DD @ 4 loved everything (especially TOT), but Space Mountain. Only ride that has ever scared her.

My suggestion is to visit ToT, if you don't normally experience any motion sickness. Otherwise, there are various potential remedies that may be used to take care of that.
If there are other reasons that cannot be helped, still do visit ToT.
The theming and architecture is beautiful.
And the music that plays is hauntingly wonderful and represents the era of the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
Instead of going into the ride itself, just exit through the exit door. That is what I do. No one cares why. Just let the CM know that is what you care to do, when you reach that point in the line near the elevators (Ride itself)

This one's a bit silly, but for me it's Haunted Mansion. I actually quite enjoy it, but it scared me when I was a kid (not that I was going to tell anyone and be called a chicken) and it took many rides to get over it. Now, 25+ years later, I still get a twinge of anxiety stepping through the double doors of the mansion.

Don't worry, none of the ghosties will bite. But.....one may be in for quite a fright. I hear that all kinds of strange things may go on in the mansion. Especially in the private cemetery, here you will find all kinds of ghostly and ghastly delights to relish for eternity. Beware too, that back in the mansion, a not so charming old lady, ok, actually old dead lady, by the name of Constance, is very handy with a cleaver, ain't talking Beaver either. Anyway, just ask any of her husbands, just in case they might run into you, or the other way around. Many an interesting tale to tell by them all. Where exactly the truth may be will be up to you to figure it all out. If you should ever find yourself confused, just consult with the world-famous Madame Leota. Just listen for spirited chanting, and you shall find her and her most favorite raven, Master Gracey. Now, he might nip you a bit, but don't worry about it, he is just playing around. Well.....unless you make him angry, or insult the madame. In which case there really will be room for one more. ;)
Now don't lose any sleep over it, or worse....your head. For most of the ghosts are just really fun lovin souls that are highly spirited!

I've never gone on it & I never will. But there is a reason people call it Mickey's Death Wheel. Everyone I've ever met in person that went on the swinging cars described them as one of the most terrifying experiences of their life.

I was going to say TOT, but when someone said Mickeys Wheel of Death, I couldn't figure out what they were talking about. Even though I've been to DCA 5 times the last 6 years, I must have blocked that ride out of my mind. I just walk by whispering "no" to myself then forget it until I happen to walk by it again. So, I guess my vote has to be for MWoD.

The only ride that actually terrified me was Thunder Mountain, and that was because I was trying to keep my little daughter from literally flying off the ride. I had to hold her down with one hand and hold on to the bar with my other hand. I refuse to go on that ride again until they install seat belts.

Call me strange, but I feel a little uncomfortable on Silly Symphony Swings. The loose chains, the loose rod holding me in, the high spinning over the water....it just doesn't feel very safe to me. But my kids love it and it never has a line so I grit my teeth and have fun.

Swinging Fun Wheel. I have ridden just about every coaster in America and that ride terrifies me! I still ride it every DCA day though! ;)

I'm terrified of heights - terrified BUT can handle them IF the ride moves fast.

My list of rides that make me cringe even 3000 miles away and I NEVER want to ride are-
-Mickey's Death Wheel
-The Swings

Rides that I WILL go on but scream the entire time and hang on for dear life-
-Goofy's
-The Golden Zephyr that one is SCARY - it's just a tiny chain holding your entire family in the air with NO doors and PLASTIC seat belts, PLASTIC people. My 3,4, & 5 year olds loved it though so I got dragged on - lol

Also I am ironically terrified but in a fun way on the rockets. How on EARTH is that seat belt supposed to actually hold anyone when it's all stretched out around the adult and not at all on the kid in front! Also not a fan of Dumbo or Flicks Flyers --- again plastic seat belts -lol

Give me TOT or screamin ANY day :)

Personally scary to me:
AstroOrbiter/Swings in CA--make me feel like I want to puke. Just can't go in circles like that

Teacups--I will ride on my own. Can't with the kids or they'll make it spin too much.

Matterhorn--No amount of history or theming can excuse how battered I felt after this ride. Never again.

Best rides: ToT, California Screaming, Soaring, and TSMM--California Adventure is my favorite of all the Disney parks. :)
