Hi

Looking to have some different dining experiences this year.
Usually book:
Fantasmic (tried Mamma Melrose and Hollywood & Vine)
Crystal Palace (Breakfast)
Boma (Dinner)
T-Rex Cafe (lunch or dinner)
Planet Holllywood(dinner)

Have booked Sci-fi diner and dessert party this year & am looking for another 2 good restaurants for either breakfast or dinner?
Think I may prefer buffett type UNLESS the menu is fab with lots of variety.
(Mum and teen son-love fish and meat and veg BUT not food thats too 'heavy' e.g. pastries, pies, bread items)

Staying at AKV & we're not on DDP but are thinking of doing it for a few days OR buying TIW card/pass as I have an AP.

Any suggestions welcome

regards

Try 'Ohana at the Polynesian. It's got some great food and a great experience!

If you love seafood and buffets, you should definitely try out Cape May Cafe, at the Beach Club, for dinner. They have a clam boil as they call it. Clams, mussels, crab legs and usually have different specialty items on specific nights. They also have ribs and chicken. It is my family's favorite buffet.

I think the Tusker House character breakfast buffet has the best breakfast.

I say Cape May at the Beach Club and Ohana at the Polynesian. In the parks, Garden Grill is great for character interaction and food in Epcot, and Yak n' Yeti, although not a buffet, has TONS of great variety and it is all SOOO yummy. (In Animal Kingdom) Also, Tusker House is a lot like Boma but the foods are different in many ways and it is just a whole different experience. Definitely worth checking out though! :)

Happy Planning!!

Favorite WDW restaurants: Sanaa and Flying Fish

Favorite Character Meals: O'hana and Akershus

Favorite in Park: Brown Derby

Favorite Counter Service: Columbia House

Breakfasts: CP buffet, Tusker buffet

Dinners: Cape May buffet (both a seafood section and an 'American' section),
Biergarten buffet (Germany in Epcot), Yak & Yeti in AK. Most of all, Ohana - based on your other choices I think you will really, really enjoy the food as well as the atmosphere.
