Which restaurants are best for handicapped access?

Are all the WDW park and resort restaurants accessible? I will be using a motorized scooter and crutches due to an unexpected injury this trip. Can I use my Scooter to get up to 'Ohana, park it somewhere and use my crutches to get into the restaurant? Is there scooter parking? Am I better off using my regular wheelchair? I definitely can't do stairs. Are there ramps anywhere? I'm so confused and worried!

All the restaurants in the Parks and Resorts are accessible. For 'Ohana, if you come by Monorail the restaurant is on the same level as the station. If you come in the main entrance, go past the front desk on the right side and there will be two elevators.

I would also suggest that you go to the "disABILTIES" forum where you will find lots of helpful informaiton.

Just about everything at Disney World is wheelchair friendly. I found this out when I had to push my husband around for a weekend after an unexpected incident left him in a wheelchair. He could hobble but uncomfortably.

Only advice I can give you is to watch out for other guests. You are going to be at their waist level and they won't necessarily see you. My husband batted more fannies away from his face and had a few close calls with cigarettes at his eye level.

I was very impressed with the resturants there for Handicapped access. We had a guest that had with MS in a wheelchair and her daughter happened to break her leg just before our trip. I agree that it is the other guests you have to watch out for. I had no idea people were so inconsiderate to people in wheelchairs before my trip there. People would cut you off in a heartbeat and were rude on top of it. It was like we were inconvienancing them. Just plan on taking extra time to do whatever you want to do including eat in the resturants.
