I know that these are not the most popular choices but my family, we like buffets because everyone likes something different. But some of my grownup kids favorites are the seafood buffet at Cape May and Biergarten in Germany at Epcot. 1900 Park Fare is great. Lady Tremaine and the step sisters are hysterical and never ever step out of character. They are worth the trip. We are also going to Raglan Road in Disney Springs one night. This is always a favorite with us.
I really wanted to keep 1900 PF. I thought my kids would enjoy the character dining, but I couldn't justify spending that much on my kids for a buffet. Especially because my son is old enough to be charged the adult price. They all eat like teeny tiny birds. Someone suggested Garden Grove and I think we are going to try that. We are going to have lots of hamburgers and sandwiches during the week and seafood sounds like a great change of pace and the price is reasonable enough that I won't feel like I'm wasting it on the kids! Lol. And a little character meeting sounds perfect.
If DH and I ever go to WDW by ourselves, our meals will be much different!
I agree that your original plan is a lot of running around. BC pool is wonderful. I'd spend the day relaxing & enjoying that & grab dinner in BC/YC/BW area. Then wander around the boardwalk at night to see some of the performers & watch Illuminations from the bridge. I'm almost positive BC has some sort of arts & crafts activity for kids on some days. I seem to remember seeing Mickey & Minnie ceramics that kids can paint. Maybe your DD would like that instead of AoA. There is also an artist doing caricatures in the BC lobby. My son loved watching him draw & used a giftcard to have one done on our last night.
So the same bread pudding that they serve at ‘Ohana can be purchased in single servings at Tambu Lounge? Is this a walk up and order type place? One of the biggest reasons I wanted to go to ‘Ohana was for the bread pudding, but we haven’t been able to get a reservation (yet) so this is very interesting!
Yes and when we were at Kona in May our waiter was kind enough to let us order the Bread Pudding in Kona. Not sure if this normal policy but in our opinion the food is way better at Kona than 'Ohana and with the Bread Pudding for dessert Kona is even better.
