which resort?

I am booked at Pop for Dec 3-10, an agent told me today that the code can't be applied to Pop but I could get a reservation to CBR for only $122 more after applying code YQC.....is it worth upgrading from Pop? This will be our first trip.

Answered this over on the Resort Board. My advice is to do the upgrade. The value resorts are going to be full of teenagers that week - Pop Warner Football players and cheerleaders. Pools, food courts and buses will all be packed. You'll enjoy your stay more at the CBR. There may be a few Pop Warner people there, too, but they are more likely to be family units rather than groups of 4 teens /room. Pop Warner doesn't have all that much impact on the parks, but the large number of teens does have an impact on the atmosphere at the value resorts.

Whew! Thanks for your advice! I just changed from POP to CBR and only ended up paying $122 more for a 7 night stay with the YQC code. Yay, DISboards!
