Which resort would you NOT stay at again...

Caribbean Beach is on my list due to its size and layout as well as the fact that the front desk is so far away from the rest of the resort. I may try it again in the future after the new buildings and if the front desk/hospitality area is relocated.

The only other place I won't return to is Wilderness Lodge, the rooms were nice but we found the staff to be the most unfriendly ever and this was during the Thanksgiving holiday. We also found the bus service to be the worst we had ever encountered - and we go often!

Kind of OT but I was never interested in OKW and never thought i would stay there but after a long weekend over Easter we fell in love with this resort. So I guess I will keep an open mind in the future :)

POP- I disliked pretty much everything about it.

Boardwalk- Love the Epcot resorts but didn’t like the setup of The Boardwalk Resort. The pool and pool bar were particularly disappointing.

Probably wouldn’t stay at any value more than a single night.

CBR- I might try this resort again after the refurbishment but only if we plan on hitting the water parks because I really disliked the pool.

Not that I wouldn't stay there again if we had to but my least favorite resort by far is Boardwalk. I HATE having to go out to the boardwalk for all the food options and that clown is just terrifying (have you even seen it at night? He'll eat your soul!). I also found the staff there to be less-than. They ranged from unenthusiastic, to indifferent, to outright rude.
Couldn't agree more! Gave it 2 tries, checked out and moved to another resort both times. And don't get me started on the pull out couch!

Coronado Springs. 3 years ago we had a very bad experience there. The room was dirty upon check-in. Bell service delivered our luggage to the wrong room, and couldn't find it for a couple of hours. We were placed in the middle of a convention group, facing a "quiet" pool. They were outside all hours of the night, noisy as heck, bad language, drinking etc... which we could hear from the room. Security tried to quiet them down, and we actually saw a couple of guests get into a kerfuffle with the staff. The main pool was closed our first night for a private event, and the lines at the food court were out of this world. It was like the perfect storm lol. It was the one and only time we have asked to change resorts (and we are pretty easy going). We moved to POFQ and it was so nice!

Wilderness Lodge. We eat mostly in food courts and found their food court extremely tiny, lacking choices and it felt like a cave. Also our room was the very last room at the very end of the very last hallway. It literally was a 10minute walk from the elevator to our room. Then our balcony was a solid wood wall which was about 4 1/2 feet tall. I could barely see over it and the kids couldn’t see anything

I did not like WL, I hated the theming same with All Star Sports. I also did not like CBR, the size of the resort was too overwhelming.
I am a bit shocked though with POP on everybody's list, I find their theming very fun and welcoming.:flower1:

Surprisingly, AKL. When I first found out there was a WDW resort where you could see animals right outside your balcony, I was stoked! I told DH that was somewhere we had to stay some day. Well 2 years ago we got that chance. We arrived around 2am and I was surprised at how dark the entire resort was. I get it that it was darker than others because of the animals, but it was creepy dark for me. Our room felt like it was miles away and it was really hard to navigate in the middle of the night with our luggage. The room seemed tiny compared to our usual POR. We got a room with bunk beds and DD hated that, she's slightly claustrophobic and scared of heights so it was difficult for her to get used to. The other bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and I was unable to get a good night's sleep the entire 5 days we were there. I really didn't like the Mara, and we had a less-than-stellar experience at Boma for breakfast. The only good thing about it was the balcony and the animals. DD sat out there for hours every day, absolutely loved it. But I'm plenty happy going to Sanaa for lunch and seeing the animals there.

Poly for us.

Got upgraded to CL, but the noise level was insane at that price level. We could hear everything that our neighbors were saying or doing. Same with the noise from the hallway in the morning. Also, we didn't care for the dining options, and the bar was packed to the gills every night. Glad we crossed it off the bucket list, but we won't be back.

The monorail hotels, esp GF. Over priced. And since they're the oldest, I found that their pools are too small, lack luster compared to the newer resorts. If I'm mostly doing non-park days, I prefer resorts in the BW area (more to do). If I'm doing parks, then why spend so much $$ on the rooms.

Along these lines, I wouldn’t stay at the Poly again. The main building was way too crowded with mobs of people at all hours, it felt stressful walking thru coming and going from the monorail for the parks and dinner.

Further, I don’t think the resort is properly staffed to handle the crowds -common areas of our building were dirty and siginifanct signs of deferred maintenance.

We ate at the GF three times during our trip and my husband said if we stay in property next trip, it has to be at the GF.

I wouldn’t say I’d never stay at PoP. Until last Dec I’ve only stayed at Pop for 1 night if I had a late arrival. But last trip I did a 10 day stay, because it was only me in room, and because my friend and I had never seen the WDW Christmas decorations, we were concentrating on parks and resorts to see it all.
We were so far away from bus and main hall, and bus service was awful. 30 min waits most mornings.

I would stay there again if I had a better room location. But just can’t get excited about any value.

Polynesian.
I had such nostalgia for it and was so excited to stay there last year for the first time since the 80's...we liked it, but if I'm paying that much money for a deluxe, we think Yacht/Beach is much more worth the price due to location, upkeep, pool, decor, ambiance, all of it. :)

Pop never again. Standing room on buses almost every time except a couple times in the morning.
Tables in the food court were messy, long waits at the cash register and long waits to get on the buses. The resort seemed crowded.
The beds were uncomfortable more than other resorts we had stayed at.
I liked walking around seeing all the large icons but that was about it.

Hated CBR and CSR.

Never stayed there but would never stay at Boardwalk, any All Star, Contemporary.

SSR... we only stayed for two nights but I never felt like i knew how to get anywhere besides the bus stop, long walk to lobby, tried to walk to Disney Springs but couldn’t find the walkway, and I don’t like the theme at all. I thought I wouldn’t like OKW for similar reasons but I actually liked OKW probably because I like the theme better and the lobby didn’t feel as far from us.

I probably wouldn't stay at the Contemporary again. Before I get flamed . . . we did really enjoy our stay at the Contemporary and it's awesome being able to walk to MK - there wasn't anything we DISLIKED about it but there are several other deluxe resorts that we MUCH prefer. We are big fans of the Poly, AKL, and BC. BC is probably our favorite because we spend most of our time at Epcot.

All Star Movies, the room smelled so bad, was damp inside, and even outside the room it smelt like sewage. Thank goodness it was for one night only :)
