We adults love rock music, the kids love to swim, we want to all be in 1 room not two (sharing a bathroom is no big deal - we're not big bathroom hogs LOL). The kids will be small so can share space. We will be flying to Orlando so can't bring an inflatable mattress, although I do have a friend just north of Orlando who has one and I might be able to borrow it.

Cost is also a factor here. Any thoughts? It will only be for a night or 2 so we can immerse ourselves in US/IOA for 2 days while on a Disney trip.

I vote for the Hard Rock. Short walk to the parks. Very cool hotel.

The kids would probably love the splash area at the Royal Pacific. You can pool hop between the hotels.

You can pool hop at Universal hotels?? If we are staying at Portofino Bay, we can use the Hard Rock pool as well?

That's cool!! :bounce: :)

We're 2 adults and three kids (4, 5 and 7). We stayed at the HRH in a deluxe room last July and it was great. The deluxe rooms really gives you a nice layout and my 2 dds loved the pull out sleeper sofa.

Yes, you can pool hop. There are busses that run between the 3 hotels and US if you dont want to walk. Actually the walk from Portifino to the Royal Pacific would probably be pretty long.
