Which resort has the least kids?

If the idea of being around lots of kids is unappealing to you maybe you want to rethink your vacation destination! No matter where you go, no matter when you go, there will always be lots of kids at Disney!

I don't think the OP hates kids,,simply asking a question about which resort has the least amount of them.

I don't hate kids either, but do I want to be surrounded by mobs of them 24/7? Nope. Usually, it works out for me too..I go in September and I like the late EMH better..most of the kids have passed out cold by then.

Count me in as someone who thinks an adults only event at WDW(hard ticketed) would be really neat. I think Epcot would be perfect for this.

We were just at CSR during President's Week and I have to say there just didn't seem to be a lot of kids there. I loved the resort! It being a convention resort is a big plus for me. The busses were never crowded and there weren't a lot of kids around. When we walked through the Contemporary, on the other hand, there were kids everywhere. I would return with my son for sure, but was a great place for our adults-only get away.

Claudia, I am so sorry you went through that and I am glad seeing kids in the park makes you happy.

But I do so agree that kids in a nearby room when you are trying to sleep or relax can be less than fun!

I do not think OP hates or try to completely avoid kids, lets not get carried away. There is nothing wrong with wanting a bit of quiet after a day in a park.

I would imagine even those with kids dream about a kid free vacation once in a while.

We were at Wdw during POP warner in 2005, we stayed at POFQ no chearleaders there. Plenty of them in POR though 0.o

The OP's question is absolutely reasonable.

Many adults without kids (permanently or temporarily) ... end up taking a trip to Disney. Asking where there are likely to be fewer kids is a reasonable question for those trips.

I don't see what all the hullabaloo is about.. Sheesh.

And truly if Disney did not think that Disney World was a destination that can be enjoyed without children, why do they keep making those adult only commercials,

Also if all Disney resorts equally appeal to families with children, why do we see so, so many questions on here about which resort appeals most to children. Surely everyone is answering that question with the same answer, all of them.

Hey OP, if you have not done so, check out the Disney for Adults and Solo Travelers board. There are a lot of very knowledgeable Disney loving people who do not travel with children who would be glad to give advice on their experience.
That said, CSR is a great resort. I stayed there in December a few years back and really really liked it.

even all the guides suggest allstar music as the Value resort that least appeals to families with children. there are guides for honeymooners, guides for adults without children, etc.
hubby and I have been to mouseland tons of times... without kids. and while I can't wait to take my grandkids, right now, we enjoy it.. just the two of us!
there's a reason kids aren't allowed at karaokee at the swan after 10 pm. adn why there are adult venues.

I also vote for either CSR or the Swan/Dolphin.
CSR: a convention hotel. the quiet pools really are pretty quiet. If one isn't, go to the next (there are 3). we go to the main pool early, hubby likes to get there with his coffee and book as early as possible.. enjoy the quiet.
they have a nightclub, and 2 outside bars; the one by the pool, yes. but there is one right outside the lobby which doesn't appeal to people with kids.

swan/dolphin: the heavenly beds! walking distance to boardwalk, with many adult venues. (jelly rolls, atlantic dance hall, espn, etc.)

have fun! disney is for all kinds of families.
ps... pop warner never stays at swan/dolphin.

Walt Disney World is a vacation resort, NOT a children's resort. It is marketed as a honeymoon destination and as a romantic, fun destination for couples traveling without children. This is why they had Pleasure Island, the golf courses, the nicer resort restaurants like V&A and CG, the spas and other, more adult experiences. The OPs question was valid and I don't understand why the mommy brigade is getting their panties in a wad.

As another poster pointed out, there are many, many posts about which resort would appeal to children the most. So why the hubbub about a post concerning which resort would have a more adult appeal? This ticks me off because I see this parental entitlement issue at many places beyond WDW so even if hubby and I are enjoying a nice meal off property we STILL have to deal with crying babies or have small children making a fuss during a theatre production.

We childless people promise to leave the early ADRs, main swimming pools, early EMH, dinner at Pizza Planet and mid afternoon Fantasyland rides to the kids as long as families agree to keep the kids out the resort restaurants after 8 PM, keep them out of the hot tub and quite by the quite pool in the evenings, and agree not to let them run through the resort hallways (outside or otherwise) screaming at 7 AM.

I disagree.
Disney is not just for kids....Disney is for families....all shapes and sizes of families. Believe it or not, some families don't have kids! Yup! amazingly enough bazillions of families travel to Disney without kids.
