Which resort has the least kids?

an "adults only" day at MK would be nice!

Maybe it's just me but I find comments like this as offensive as if some suggesting they should have a day excluding a certain race or religion.
To have "adults only" goes against everything Walt's Dream of why built the parks.

To answer your question, like others said go to higher end off site hotels.
The Peabody would fall into that class.

But you'll never find the parks themslves free of kids
(and IMHO, nor should ever be)

I belive the hilton also has an agreement with disney to offer the EMH too

we like the night EMH because my kids are on west coast time so its 2 hours earlier for them (and we get the comments about how terrible it is we have our children up so late, really its was 7 pm for them)
we found after the first hour of the EMH the parks clear out pretty good

You know I get it - some people don't like kids.......... that's cool - but at least admit that you can realize that going to WDW - a KID/Family destination - when you don't want to be around kids - is rather mind boggling to some of us. I mean, you can see the point some of us are making and why we are making it. Can't You?

To each his own........... I respect that, but, I agree with some of the other OP's - perhaps offsite is the best choice for you - as no matter which resort you choose - at any given time, you will have TONS of kids - you have to remember, just because US schools are in session, other countries are not.

If you are wanting to be onsite for the EMH's - you will find the park that is offering the EMH"s will typically be packed for them - there are TONS of onsite guest who use them - either the AM or PM EMH's - it really doesn't matter - it's busy all the same! I personally MUCH prefer to NOT do the EMH's as stated above - they tend to be extremely busy and crowded with - you guessed it - kids!

I respectfully disagree with this..................... I've found that the parks that offer the EMH's tend to be the busiest - for the duration - unless of course it's a 1 am or later night, then the crowds tend to ease off a bit.......... the later it gets.

we found the last 2 times we went after 10.30-11 everything was walk on
it could hve been the time of year we went too
we were there in mid Dec and last Oct

we never went to any morning EMH because my kids slept in (west coast thing again)

I would guess CSR may be less crowded b/c of conventions

But if you need more of an adult fix - I would do the Swan. Very nice rooms, queen 'Heavenly' beds, double sinks, very close to EPCOT and DHS. Right next door to the Boardwalk with nice dining and dancing.

Swan does offer some WDW resort benefits - can do EMH's, use disney transportation and offers AAA, teacher, nurses, government employee discounts.

I get what you're saying. We are two adults with no children. It's not that we don't like children....heck I teach dance. In answer to your questions, we really like CSR and yes there are children. If I get what you're asking I would say just stay away from the value resorts. I think they appeal more to children.

Also, CSR has a great nightclub and fitness room and the hot tub is very large. We like to head to hot tub later at night. Less children then.

Well, hate to tell you, every resort has kids. If you are looking for peace and quiet, we stayed at CBR and found it very quiet and we HAVE kids.

I totally get not wanting to be around kids 24/7 ~ especially if you don't have any! I also understand WANTING to go to Disney and stay onsite.

Just saying. It isn't much to ask. Been there done that before we had kids. I found Port Orleans Riverside to be very kid "unappealing".

OP-sorry so many people are jumping all over you! Not a very nice welcome to the Dis. I don't like dolphins, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to go to Sea World and see what else is there...same diff, right? I hope you enjoy your trip to WDW, a great place for EVERYONE!

I, too, felt the CSR had an adult vibe. (My kids did love the resort though) So, another vote for CSR. Also, POFQ was a nice quiet resort.

We are a childless couple as well...At least for now.
We LOVE children, LOVE disney, yet sometimes want to have a night/day without seeing any...my adorable nieces included in that!

People need to calm down!! Mr. Burns is not attacking! Simply asking a question!!

As for places, I would probably avoid CBR if you want to go to the themed pool area. The quiet pools might be good.

CSR for sure. There will definitely be kids but not as many as other resorts. CSR is a lovely resort. And it has an adults only nightclub (I think its adults only maybe after a certain hour). Be sure and check out KatMark's CSR FAQ thread, you'll get lots of tips. Quiet pools can also offer a very kid free place to swim and relax since most kids want that pool slide.

Late night emh's do see MK less crowded with kids. Morning emh's will be full of kids since little kids in particular get up early. I have done some emh's at MK that went as late as 4:00 a.m. (but not going to happen that late for your dates) and pretty much, any time after midnight, you'll see fewer and fewer kids and when you do see them, they are often asleep in strollers!

Epcot is one of those places, you can see more adults, the World Showcase in particular.

I hope you have a great time, but with Pop Warner be prepared to see teenagers in droves. They are frequently tied up with competition, but they are frequently not!

We do evening emh's at MK, but never Epcot. Not enough open and always crowded. Evening emh's at AK can be very nice and uncrowded. DHS is another one that just doensn't have enough open (better than Epcot though) to disperse the crowds for the first hour or two in particular. But MK is great, even when its crowded there is enough "lands" to spread out in and enough quick loading stuff (Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Mickey's Phil) to keep people not congregating in the same area.

Hardly ever do morning emh's because we have a two hour time difference that makes that hard. And they go too quick and make the park too crowded too early.

I agree! If you want a relaxing, adult atmosphere, you should really consider staying off-site. The Unofficial Guide has great reviews of off-site properities with travel times to and from each. It is quicker to get to some of the theme parks when you stay off-site then on property!!! I think you would enjoy yourself more at a more adult themed hotel off-site because no matter which Disney resort you choose, you will be surrounded by children, and lots of them!!!!

I can't speak to the moderates, but I would think most the Values have lots of kids.

Of course, the presence of children doesn't always mean they will be mis beehavin! We stayed at BC last year and honestly did not encounter ANY unruly children (other than our own-hahaha) at our resort. And there really weren't huge swarms of children like we thought there may be, except at the pool. I thought if we didn't have our kids, we might try the Yacht Club or the Boardwalk... They both seemed very grown up and the clown pool was enough to freak all my kids out! They wouldn't go near it with a ten foot pole!!!!
