In your opinion, which resort has the best/fastest bus service! Trying to pick a resort and this is a priority for us.
TIA!

We have stayed at The Pop Century twice, not only do we LOVE IT, but the buses are very efficient. We never had to wait more than 10 min, going to and coming from. We stayed there, the last week of Sept., and they claim the resort was full, not only did you not notice it was full, but in the morning they had 2 to 3 buses lined up (2-3 for each park)they were ready to get us to the parks. We are going back in 2011 and we will stay again at the POP! I will tell you, we went to the Polynesian for breakfast, and we were stuck there for over 1 hour, because the monorail broke down, that was a huge inconvenience and we waited forever for a bus to the Magic Kingdom.

Depends on what you mean when say 'best'. If you want bus service that makes no other stops, then Pop Century is the resort for you. It is the only resort that offers bus service with no other stops.
All the other resorts make multiple stops....be it within the confines of that resort or outside the confines of that resort at other resorts.
For instance...someone suggested Coronado Springs. The buses there don't make any other stops at other resorts....but the buses do make multiple stops within the resort itself. Same thing with CBR and POR. POFQ 'sometimes' has it's own bus but more likely is on the same route as POR.
The All Stars usually share a bus...sometimes Movies is on it's own.
AKL used to have just the one stop...at Jambo House. But now it stops at Kidani Village first then goes to Jambo House.
And on it goes.
It also depends on which park you are planning on spending the most time in...if it's MK, you may be better off at a monorail resort.
Like Epcot and DHS?? The Epcot resorts (YC/BC/BW/S/D) will be good choices.

But, something to keep in mind...if you choose a resort that has alternative transportation (boat, monorail or foot) the bus service tends to suffer.

It really isn't wise to choose a resort based on it's bus transportation.....way too many variables.

I've stayed at AS Sports (twice), AS Music, Pop (too many times to count), POFQ (multiple times), PORS, CBR, CSR (four times), AKL, WL, and BW. By far the best bus service we've ever gotten has been every time we've stayed at CSR.

In fact, I originally had my upcoming May trip booked at PORS and switched to CSR mainly because of their great bus service. Due to it being a convention resort, conventioneers are in meetings all day leaving the buses free. Buses come frequently and I've never had to stand on a bus in the mornings. At night, the only time we've had to stand is if we leave the parks late and that was just once.

Of the resorts we have stayed at (CBR, POFQ, CSR, POR, OKW) we have had good bus service at all of them, but CBR has been the best. When we stayed there most of our waits for a bus were under 5 minutes. And it is probably the most centrally located WDW resort with very short rides to all parks plus DTD. 3 minutes to DHS, 5 to Epcot, 9 to DTD, and 11 to MK and AK.

Good luck! :goodvibes

Of all the resorts we have stayed at, Pop Century was BY FAR the best.
The worst= Beach Club (and BWI is pretty lousy too thus why we have never stayed there)

They can all have great service, they can all have 'bad' service. Depends on how it works out just general luck sometimes. I've had really good service from CSR, the one short trip to Pop wasnt bad at all, SSR was 'ok', then the bus when we visted AKL was fine (only took one bus from there, mid AM so really cant comment much more then that). WL wasnt much fun, but that's because we took the bus from there to DTD and I forget where else it goes before it head to DTD but the trip seemed to take forever. The bus was there quickly though.
