My trip to Kidani was cancelled but I can go the week of August 24 (Kidani was rescheduled from a Yacht Club stay earlier). Background: traveling alone, no kids, staying in a studio, will have a car. I plan to get plenty of pool time in, eat good food, visit the parks. I'll want something to do at night other than stare at a screen.

My choices are (all DVC): GF, Poly, Copper Canyon, Beach Club, and Kidani.

I have stayed at WL before and like it. The pool(s) and bar and lobby would all be good spots to hang out. At least one restaurant will be open.

BC looks interesting because I could walk to Epcot and Studios, but I will have a car so I can always drive to a park. It's unclear if SAB pools will be open. Unclear what dining is available other than Beaches and Cream.

Kidani looks really cool with nice pool(s). There isn't a QS restaurant there, but I'll have a car and Rt. 192 is not far away.

GF looks like a good splurge, with a nice pool, and food and drinks readily available in the main building.

Poly is what it is, but I'm going to be an adult alone and it seems very family-oriented.

Any thoughts? Want to tell me how to spend my vacation?

Kidani with a savannah view because at least you can watch the animals.
We bought at CCV because we love it, and I can’t imagine being unhappy there. Geyser Point is open.
Have a great time!

If you are limited to one park a day in August like now, you won't be able to hit a different park in the morning and then go to Epcot or DHS to eat later on in the day.

CCV is Copper Creek Villas, not canyon.

Thank you!

I think BCV would be good because I can return to the resort mid-day to hit the pool, then re-enter (Epcot or Studios) in late afternoon when perhaps crowds have diminished.

I like either GF, CC or BVC. Allhave nice pools. Should have decent access to food at any of them as well.

if you have only one day, stay at BC. You can walk to Epcot and HS plus have some of the Boardwalk Restaurants other than Beaches and Cream.. If SAB is closed, you will have the smaller pools available or BW pool access.

I wouldn’t stay at BCV if pool time is a big thing with SAB closed. Unless you love clowns!!

I'll be on WDW property for either 3 or 4 nights. I'm planning just four park days, one in each park. Some days I'll take a mid-day break to cool off and change into dry clothes.

I hate clowns but heard SAB will re-open on August 24.

I've been researching food options today. CCV has one full service restaurant and two QS restaurants running (three if you count the bar). And they are all close to the room. BC has a QS and a bar, but the Beaches and Cream table service restaurant is booked up. Perhaps when YC reopens on the 24th some of their food service will be available.

GFV is a hike via a covered outdoor walkway to any food or the bar, and the Courtyard Pool is closed (NBA). At Polynesian sounds like the pool is crowded and again it's a hike to the Ceremonial House and the bar there is closed. There are excellent food options at Poly.

If it were available, I'd be thrilled to stay in a regular old room at Coronado Springs. Great pool, great food options, great location (if you have a car).
