Which resort for dinner to see Christmas decorations?

We are visiting the World in early December and staying at OKW. We have time to visit only one other resort for a dinner some night.... I cant choose between WL or AKL...... nor which dining establishment to visit in each for dinner...... There will be 4 adults and 4 kids ages 2, 3, 3, 11. We need a pasta dish on the menu for my kids <sigh>

Suggestions????

Never have eaten at WL so I can't really speak for the menu, but check wdwig.com or the restaurants database on the DIS.

AKL's Boma is great! They have children's buffet and it did have pasta selections if I remember correctly as well as other kid foods like chicken fingers, french fries, etc.

the wilderness lodge is fabulous!! and the christmas tree is unbelieveable. have you looked at the menus at www.wdwig.com/menu/menus.htm#res of the two sit-downs, we prefer artist point. (but we do like whispering canyon cafe for breakfast!)

I've seen most of the deluxe resorts at Christmas, and I have to say the WL gets my vote, too. It's just gorgeous all decorated.

If you go there, the AP is great for dinner, but I don't know about a pasta dish.

I have seen all the WDW reorts decked out for Christmas and WL is definitely one of the best and dinner at AP is fabulous! GF is also beautifully decorated for Christmas and there are several good restaurants there also.

Well-of the two WL is probably better decorated. But the BEST of all the hotels for Xmas decorations is the Grand Floridian. I wonder--if your heart isn't set on WL or AKL you might find a suitable restaurant there??
We did visit all the hotels this past december, and GF really stands out in my memory.

Wilderness Lodge gets my vote. Th holiday atmoshere is awesome. The decorations are great. We like the WC for dinner, a good choice for kids because there are games and little side shows to keep them busy while you eat your dinner. WL gets my vote.

We visited a few hotels last December during our Poly stay. For decorations the best were WL and GF. If you have the food narrowed down to WL and AKL, I'd go with WL. But as someone has said, there are many food choices at GF too.

Maybe what we should do is have lunch one day at the GF. We are only spending the mornings at the parks so hoppping on the monorail (a treat in itself) and going to the GF for lunch before heading back to OKW is doable.

WL for dinner.... I think we will try WC. GF for lunch.... We have done 1900 Park Fare.... Any other suggestions for lunch???
