Which resort for a split stay with The Polynesian?

We are spending 5 nights at The Poly but will be arriving a couple days earlier than planned. We will probably spend one of those at Disney Springs and the other at Epcot. What resort would you chose to stay the extra 2 nights? Moderate or Deluxe or maybe something within walking distance to Disney Springs like Hilton? I was planning Wilderness but looks like too much construction at this time.

We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas for our split stay with the Polynesian Villas this summer. The Boardwalk area is very fun and we love walking into Epcot through the International Gateway.

We love EP/MK splits!!! Especially if you are going to EP. I would look into BC/YC or BWI. We prefer BC and BWI (YC is a little too low-key for us), but you can't go wrong with any of them.

Boardwalk Inn or Villas. Love that place, and IMO it has the best location and transportation of every Disney resort. Period.

Beach Club is so lovely and the pool is wonderful! Love having the option to walk to Epcot or take a short boat ride to HS. Then of course, you have the Boardwalk to enjoy as well :)

I agree, while Poly is a great companion resort for MK, Beach Club is the perfect compliment to Epcot. We love entering through the international gateway just steps away from BC!

I love the idea of beach club or boardwalk being near epcot BUT right now Animal Kingdom Lodge is cheaper. Any reason we should not book there? We will be driving and the parking advisory for Beach and Yacht club concerns me.

We love split stays, and my favorites are splits between an MK resort and an Epcot resort. So I'd vote for a split between Poly and either BC or BWI (YC is fine, but we prefer BC and BWI and both have been recently renovated.) It's always a tough choice between BC and BWI, but here are a few factors to consider:

BWI: Boardwalk views are right on the water and amazing. I think it's one of the best views at Disney and our entire family loves the energy at BWI. Most of the rooms have full balconies. The quiet pool is our favorite on property - in the middle of a courtyard with very little foot traffic and a super clean hot tub. The feature pool is fine - a little crowded for me and although the clown is creepy, the slide is fun. Love refilling mugs at the Belle Vue Lounge - so relaxing, no lines or waits and right off the elevators to the rooms. Love the Belle Vue Lounge in general!

BC: Love the renovated rooms - very clean lines, very simple and well done. The feature pool is wonderful and we've found several corners that are a little more quiet and serve as a nice base. Our kids range in age from 9 to 16 and are very strong swimmers, but when they were little, we just hopped in the pool with them and everyone stayed together for the most part. I'm a fan of the BC marketplace and love having a few quick service options, some grocery items and merchandise located in one spot. Also nice to have the beach area available.

Old Key West or Saratoga Springs could be great starts to your vacation. Take a boat to Disney Springs, still close to EPCOT. Plus at OKW, the rooms are really huge.
